(Student Research Colloquium 2026)

BSBT College proudly announces the successful conclusion of its first institutional student research colloquium, the Sukisok Research Conference. This landmark event utilized a sophisticated blended modality, integrating virtual scholarly presentations with an onsite conferment ceremony to honor the academic contributions of student researchers from the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) and Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) programs.

During the plenary session, Mr. Emmanuel J. Bacud, the Sukisok Conference Moderator, delivered a comprehensive lecture on the intricacies of academic synthesis and the strategic pathways toward research publication. His insights provided students with a critical roadmap for transitioning their undergraduate inquiries into contributions for the broader scientific community.

Indeed, BSBT College extends its sincere appreciation to the student researchers whose dedication defined the caliber of this colloquium. BSBT College Inc. proudly extends its profound appreciation to the Department of Tourism - Cordillera Administrative Region (DOT-CAR), under the visionary leadership of Regional Director Jovita A. Ganongan, and our esteemed Lead Trainer, Ms. Beth Y. So, for their invaluable partnership with us in conducting the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) training.

This intensive eight-hour professional development symposium was meticulously designed to cultivate the "gold standard" of hospitality within the BSBTian community. By integrating the core values of Filipino warmth with global service benchmarks and nurturing culture, the program empowered both our students and the school frontline employees with a competitive edge in the burgeoning tourism and service sectors. To ensure the seamless transition from theory to practice, the training featured rigorous practical simulations, fostering a culture of excellent ex*****on and service mastery.

The day culminated in a simple awarding ceremony led by Ms. So and Dr. Marlene Weygan-Baluyut, honoring the dedication of our participants.
