BSBT COLLEGE JOINS THE NATIONAL DIALOGUE ON QUALITY TVET

Advancing Skills, Strengthening Quality, Creating Impact

Mr. Elmer A. Benito, representing BSBT College, Inc., participated in the 8th National Quality TVET Forum on October 14, 2026, at Seda Vertis North, Quezon City.

Carrying the theme “Filipino Excellence in Action: Advancing Quality-Assured TVET for National Development,” the forum brought together stakeholders in technical and vocational education and training (TVET) to discuss ways to strengthen training quality, institutional standards, and workforce readiness.

A key highlight of the discussions was the shift from compliance to impact, emphasizing that quality education goes beyond meeting regulatory requirements. It involves establishing strong institutional foundations, delivering relevant learning experiences, developing demonstrable competencies, and achieving meaningful workplace outcomes.

The forum underscored the importance of ensuring that training programs equip learners with practical skills and competencies aligned with industry needs. It also highlighted the role of continuous improvement in enhancing the quality and relevance of technical and vocational education.

Through its participation, BSBT College reinforces its commitment to quality assurance, competency-based training, and institutional development. The knowledge and insights gained from the forum serve as valuable references for strengthening the College’s training programs, assessment practices, and educational initiatives.

BSBT College remains committed to advancing quality TVET, empowering learners with industry-relevant skills, and preparing competent graduates who can contribute to workforce development and national progress.
