On September 16, 2026, the College of Arts and Sciences CSC Kalipunan officially joined 𝗨𝗖 Freshmen Week 2026 with an exciting Open House! 🎉

We brought non-stop games, entertainment, and vibrant energy to welcome our incoming freshmen as they embark on their college journey, explore their departments, and find their home here at the University of the Cordilleras! 💙💚

To all our ka-tribu and every student who stopped by, participated, and shared in the fun, thank you for your time, enthusiasm, and incredible spirit! Your smiles made the whole event a massive success.

𝑻𝑯𝑬𝑵 𝑾𝑨𝑺 𝑻𝑯𝑬𝑵, 𝑩𝑼𝑻 𝑵𝑬𝑽𝑬𝑹 𝑨𝑮𝑨𝑰𝑵 | 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑳𝒂𝒘 𝑭𝒐𝒓𝒖𝒎

The College of Arts and Sciences Student Council (CAS-CSC), in partnership with UC Baguio - University Student Council, held a Martial Law Forum on September 29, 2026, at the University of the Cordilleras Auditorium.

With the theme “Then Was Then, But Never Again,” the forum provided students with an opportunity to revisit the history and experiences surrounding the Martial Law period and engage in discussions on its implications for the present generation.

The forum featured Chairman Ray Dean Salvosa as the resource speaker, who shared insights and perspectives on the historical period and the continuing importance of remembering its impact.

More than a recollection of the past, the forum emphasized that remembering is an act of responsibility. As generations change, the duty to understand history remains—to question, to learn, and to ensure that the lessons of the past are not lost to silence or forgotten with time.

Then was then. But history remains. And as long as we remember, we remain capable of saying: never again.

The University Student Council (USC), in partnership with the College of Arts and Sciences – College Student Council (CAS-CSC), successfully conducted the Then Was Then, But Never Again: Remembering Martial Law forum on September 29, 2026, at the UC Auditorium.

The forum provided a space for historical reflection and responsible dialogue, featuring Chairman Ray Dean Salvosa as a speaker who shared insights and perspectives on the experiences and history surrounding Martial Law.

Through meaningful discussions and shared stories, the forum encouraged participants to look back, listen, and deepen their understanding of a significant chapter in Philippine history.
