The UC College of Arts and Sciences works in partnership with the Family Planning Organization of the Philippines (FPOP) Baguio-Benguet, a multi-awarded non-government organization dedicated to promoting rights, empowerment, and education through its CARE Initiative (Community Action for Rights, Empowerment, and Education).

As part of this meaningful collaboration, FPOP RESPOND will also provide FREE HIV TESTING during the event. Together, let us foster awareness, promote informed choices, and help break the stigma! surrounding sexual and reproductive health in our society.

Born and raised in the City of Pines, Baguio City, Jan embodies more than academic excellence. He is a passionate advocate for research and researchers' welfare, believing that knowledge and innovation are powerful tools for community development. Beyond the classroom, he have dedicatedly volunteered to initiatives: mentoring and tutoring young learners in mathematics, and engaged in sports and disciplines that cultivate resilience, discipline, and leadership, from swimming and taekwondo to e-sports.

As he steps onto the pageant stage, Jan carries with him the aspirations of a college that values service, intellect, and character. He stands not only as a candidate for the Mister UC Crown but also as a testament to what it means to lead with purpose, inspire with action, and serve with heart.

The University of the Cordilleras โ€“ College of Arts and Sciences proudly took part in the Barangay Karao Fiesta 2026 Service Caravan through the CAS: Care and Share Community Extension Program, bringing meaningful services closer to the community.

Guided by the theme โ€œEchadsak ah Pansasa-ki Tayon Ikarao,โ€ the event showed unity, and collective service toward the people of Barangay Karao. Celebrating together, caring together! ๐Ÿซ‚

As part of the outreach efforts, the Psychology and Behavioral Science Department conducted free mental health counseling sessions, basic health services were provided in partnership with CONAHS, and free legal aid services were rendered by volunteer lawyers.
