The University Student Council (USC), in collaboration with the Student Affairs Services (SAS), is pleased to announce that our request for a designated charging station has been approved by the University Administration.

๐Ÿ“ Location: N4003 and N4001
๐Ÿ•™ Operating Hours: 10:00 AM โ€“ 3:00 PM

Students are encouraged to:

1. Bring your own extension cords, as available sockets may be limited.
2. Prioritize students who are still without electricity and allow them to charge their devices first.
3. Observe safety precautions when traveling to and from the University, especially amid the ongoing weather and power situation.
4. Keep your devices and belongings secure while using the charging station.

We encourage everyone to look out for one another and use this facility responsibly. In times of uncertainty, we remain committed to keeping UCians connected, safe, and supported.

In view of the suspension of face-to-face classes, the University Student Council (USC) reminds all UCians to prioritize their safety amid the prevailing weather conditions.

Face-to-face classes at all levels and work in all university offices are suspended starting at 1:00 PM today, August 7, 2026.

All affected classes shall shift to asynchronous online instructional delivery. Students are encouraged to coordinate with their respective instructors regarding class requirements and updates.

The USC also reminds everyone to exercise caution while traveling home, avoid flood- and landslide-prone areas, and remain vigilant by monitoring official University communication channels for further announcements.

In her inspiring message, the SOA Coordinator reminded everyone that leadership begins with purpose. We do not run for recognition or position; we run because we choose to serve, to represent voices beyond our own, and to create meaningful change for the community we are entrusted to lead.
