𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐄𝐄 | 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐏𝐀𝐏𝐒𝐀𝐒 𝐌𝐈𝐃𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐔𝐌 | 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟑

The final day of the 2026 PAPSAS Midyear Interactive Youth Forum brought youth leadership, collaboration, and community action together as participants turned their ideas into proposals and commitments for the future. 💚

One of the day’s highlights was the 5Ps Best Proposal Challenge, where participants presented project proposals aligned with People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace, and Partnership before a panel of evaluators.

Congratulations to Group Peace 1, under the guidance of Ma’am Zara Dyle Puguon, for receiving the Best Proposal Award for Project Sasagip! 🎉

The forum concluded with the Declaration and Commitment Rites, where participants reflected on their learnings and developed collective commitments and actionable plans to bring back to their respective communities and institutions.

As the three-day forum came to a close, our delegates carried forward new insights, shared experiences, and a renewed commitment to meaningful youth participation and community development.

𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐄𝐄 | 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐏𝐀𝐏𝐒𝐀𝐒 𝐌𝐈𝐃𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐔𝐌 | 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟐

Day 2 of the 2026 PAPSAS Midyear Interactive Youth Forum continued with our UC delegates taking part in discussions and activities centered on youth leadership, community transformation, and turning identified challenges into meaningful possibilities.

The day featured a fireside chat on “The 5Ps in Action: Stories of Youth Leadership and Community Transformation,” followed by the 5Ps Solutions Lab, where participants explored ways to develop and strengthen solutions through collaboration and youth-led action.

Our UC delegates continued to engage, exchange ideas, and contribute their perspectives alongside fellow young leaders from across the region. 💚

𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐄𝐄 | 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐏𝐀𝐏𝐒𝐀𝐒 𝐌𝐈𝐃𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐔𝐌 | 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟏

Day 1 brought our UC delegates together with fellow youth leaders for a day of collaboration, discussion, and problem discovery at the Grand Menseng Hotel, Davao City, as part of the 2026 PAPSAS Midyear Interactive Youth Forum, running from October 7–9, 2026.

Sherline M. Balla, Neil John P. Pacio, Jovally J. Degway, and Zara Dyle L. Puguon took part in workshops focused on identifying issues affecting young people and communities, understanding the people impacted, and exploring the factors behind these challenges.

Through group discussions and collaborative activities, our delegates contributed their perspectives and experiences as they worked toward identifying priority issues that can be addressed through meaningful youth action. 💚

A productive first day of learning, connecting, and turning youth perspectives into meaningful conversations.

Representing the University Student Council are USC President Sherline M. Balla and USC Senator Neil John P. Pacio, alongside Jovally J. Degway, President of Emergency Response Volunteers – Higher Education Institution, and Zara Dyle L. Puguon, USC Adviser.

Anchored on the theme “The 5Ps in Action: Empowered Youth Leaders for Sustainable, Inclusive, and Resilient Communities,” the forum brings together young leaders for leadership training, collaborative workshops, and youth action planning focused on strengthening student engagement and representation.

Sukat ti kayod | Market uncertainty, geographic isolation, and limited resources lead farmers in Taloy, Tuba, Benguet to organize and work collectively toward a more sustainable livelihood. With institutional, technical, and organizational support from the Department of Agrarian Reform, their farmers’ association develops into the Taloy Farmers Multi-Purpose Cooperative (TAFARMCO).
