Beginning August 29, 2026, heightened campus security and emergency preparedness measures will be implemented across the University.
1. ID Verification: All students, personnel, and visitors shall undergo proper identification and credential verification upon entering the campus.
2. Strengthened Security Screening: Bags, persons, and vehicles entering the campus shall be subject to security inspection to help maintain a safe and secure environment.
3. Heightened Security Presence: Additional security personnel and CCTV monitoring shall be deployed at key entry and exit points. Restricted facilities shall also be subject to active security monitoring.
4. Traffic and Crowd Management: Entry and exit points shall be managed in accordance with the Universityโs traffic and crowd management plan to help ease congestion, particularly during peak hours.
5. Coordination with External Partners: The OSH Office shall continue coordinating with the Baguio City Police Office and barangay tanod partners to strengthen campus safety and security.
6. Cooperation at Entry Points: All members of the UC community and visitors are encouraged to allot sufficient time for entry and to cooperate with security personnel during verification and inspection procedures.
All members of the UC Community are encouraged to remain vigilant, observe established safety protocols, and cooperate with security and emergency response personnel.
