Vimmae Gonzaga Marcellana graduated Cum Laude in Bachelor in Elementary Education at STI College Balagtas in 2018. During her coed days she was a part of the Student Assistant Program of the institution where she was honed in the culture of excellence in service. She 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 the 𝐋𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟗 and was eventually accepted as a public school teacher.

Her heart is full of gratitude to her beloved alma mater and has these words to share...

"Bilang isang estudyante at Student Assistant ng STI Balagtas, dito nahubog ang aking respeto at propesyonalismo. Ang pakikipagtrabaho sa mga g**o at kawani ang nagturo sa akin kung paano makipag-ugnayan nang magalang, sumunod sa mga alituntunin, at kumilos nang may mataas na antas ng propesyonalismo. Dito ko rin natutunan ang kagalakan ng pagtulong, paglingap, at pagiging bahagi ng paghubog ng isang maayos at maginhawang kapaligiran sa paaralan.

Lahat ng mga aral na ito ay patuloy kong isinasabuhay ngayon bilang isang g**o ng DepEd sa Distrito ng Balagtas.

Kaya maraming salamat, STI Balagtas, sa paghubog sa akin bilang isang g**ong may puso at may tunay na malasakit sa mga mag-aaral, isang g**ong handang maglingkod, magturo, at magbigay inspirasyon saan man dalhin ng aking propesyon."

She is now one of the most sought after teachers and the current Mathematics, Test and ICT Coordinator of Borol II Elementary School of the Municipality of Balagtas, Bulacan.

A TESTAMENT OF FAITH AND DETERMINATION

Gian Curl G. Pascual recently graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Tourism Management at STI College Balagtas last June 2025. Barely a few months after his graduation, who would ever guess that he would achieve the elusive dream of becoming a Flight Steward of the Country's Premier Flag Carrier - Philippine Airlines (PAL).

His life quest manifested in his very own words is truly a testament of faith in the Almighty God and iron will towards the realization of his dreams.

"The journey wasn’t smooth it was messy. I went from dreaming with confidence, to questioning everything, to rebuilding myself piece by piece. There were moments I almost walked away but God carried me through. And now, the dream that once felt so far finally found its way to me as I finally earned my wings."

Building Future Entrepreneurs! ✨

In collaboration with STI College Balagtas through the Alumni and Placement Office and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) through the Negosyo Center Guiguinto, Balagtas, and Pandi, a Small Business Management Training (SBMT) was successfully conducted today, November 7, 2025, for our Senior High School ABM students.

This meaningful partnership aims to equip students with essential knowledge in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and small business management, empowering them to become future business leaders and innovators.

This activity also serves as an excellent avenue for students to strengthen their leadership potential by fostering teamwork, promoting innovation, and inspiring positive change within their communities. Their story has been told before. But the inspiration of their triumph as a family deserves our emulation.

As a widow, raising her children alone took great courage and determination. But, our dear "Ate Sweety" (Baby Castillo), a janitress of the institution, was able to perform the role of both mother and father to her children. Last July 26, 2025 at Laus Group Event Centre in San Fernando, Pampanga, she walked not wearing her maintenance uniform but dressed as a proud mother of Ronald (Magna Cum Laude) and Ruby (Cum Laude) who both graduated with flying colors in the Bachelor in Elementary Education (BEEd) Program . She thanked God for the blessing and STI College Balagtas for the school's support but most is attributed to the tenacity and endurance of her mother's heart to give her children a good education.

Ate Sweety, your STI College Balagtas Family is proud of your achievement as we also doff our hat to all parents who have sacrificed and toiled hard to give their children a bright future.
