CONTEST RULES AND MECHANICS
1. The contest is open to all bona fide BPSU employees and students. Bona fide means that the employees are currently employed regardless of employment status, and that students are officially enrolled in the current semester. Both will be verified by the HRMD and the REGI, respectively.
2. Interested participants will be required to complete the online Registration Form and submit their entries until 5:00PM of 30 September 2026. After accomplishing the Form, entries must be submitted by messaging the official page of the BPSU GFPS-CHRE and sending the link for the downloadable image in high resolution. No submitted Application Form means that the submitted entry will automatically be disqualified.
3. One entry means both the logo design and the plaque design are present. An entry that only has the logo design will automatically be disqualified. An entry that only has the plaque design will automatically be disqualified. An employee or student can only submit one (1) entry.
4. Entries, once submitted, cannot be withdrawn from the competition.
5. Automatic disqualification will be given to entries found to be in violation of intellectual property laws, or are found to be discriminatory, sexist, and obscene.
6. The cash prize shall be non-negotiable and non-transferable. Only one winner will get the cash prize of โฑ40,000.
7. The decision of the Panel of Judges shall be final and executory. The following shall be the criteria for judging the entries in order to determine the winner via getting the score averages:
a. Conceptโs Relevance to the purpose and nature of the award (how the design is able to communicate BPSUโs reputation and brand as a leader in GAD among SUCs and government agencies, and the University as a gender-transformative SUC), 35 points
b. Creative originality (to ensure that the design is not a mere replication of an already existing one in compliance with intellectual property laws), 25 points
c. Versatility (the design will not lose its quality if used in different sizes and formats such as in billboards, 3D objects, digital formats etc.), 20 points
d. Impact (the overall aesthetic of the design and its ability to evoke a timeless look and set it apart from other similar awards given by other agencies), 20 points
8. BPSU GFPS-CHRE shall retain ownership of the winning entry. The winning entry will be used as the official logo and plaque design of the BPSU GAD Award beginning 2027.
