It is with profound sadness that we remember and honor the life and legacy of Engr. Gerald S. Robles.

Engr. Robles also contributed beyond the classroom, being the Makerlab Unit Head at the DR3AM Center and his capacity as the Manager for the BPSU Siklab FabLab. To many, he was a brilliant mind, but to the BPSU community, he was a source of guidance, and inspiration.

We have lost a great educator, a pioneering engineer, and a wonderful mentor. While his presence will be deeply missed in the halls of BPSU and the DR3AM Center, the knowledge he shared and the projects he inspired will continue to echo for generations to come.

Our deepest condolences go out to his family, friends, colleagues, and all the students whose lives he touched.

Rest in peace, Engr. Gerald S. Robles.

Pursuant to University Memorandum No. 729, s. 2026, and in response to national directives on energy conservation and by virtue of the BPSU Board Resolution No.06, s. 2025, the center is adopting a HyFlex (Hybrid Flexible) Work Modality.

[𝐃𝐑𝟑𝐀 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬]

On 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟎𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, the 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐓𝐈 𝐍𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐬𝐲𝐨 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫, together with its dedicated Negosyo Center Business Counselors from various municipalities across the province of Bataan, conducted an official visit to the DTI Shared Service Facilities (SSF) BPSU FabLab inside the DR3AM Center.

The primary goal of this visit was to thoroughly inspect and familiarize the counselors with the different and diverse equipment available at the facility. By gaining firsthand knowledge of these technologies, our Business Counselors are now better equipped to assist and guide Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in their respective towns.

This initiative ensures that every MSME across Bataan is well-informed about the resources available to them, paving the way for improved product development, innovation, and local economic growth.

[𝐃𝐑𝟑𝐀 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬]

Last 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟎𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, BPSU welcomed the delegates from 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 (𝐍𝐰𝐒𝐒𝐔) for their official benchmarking visit. Titled, “Benchmarking for Excellence: NWSSU-BPSU Research, Innovation, and Extension Exchange”, the delegation explored the DR3AM Center as part of their campus tour. The visit provided a valuable opportunity to share best practices, exchange institutional insights, and showcase BPSU's cutting-edge facilities in 3D printing and advanced manufacturing technologies.
