๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐๐, ๐๐๐๐: ASCOT recently conducted a fruitful online consultation meeting with the esteemed UP School of Urban and Regional Planning (UP SURP) through the Office of Training and Extension Services (OTES). The session was led by UP SURP Dean Dr. Dina C. Magnaye EnP, alongside LUDIP Project Leader Dr. David Leonides T. Yap, and OTES Director, Asst. Prof. Kristine F. Aspiras.
The UP SURP Training Team presented their insights on the ASCOT Land Use and Infrastructure Plan (LUDIP) document and discussed the design and nature of our collaborative efforts. They also unveiled the general description of the modules they've meticulously prepared for ASCOT.
Representing ASCOT were the members of the ASCOT LUDIP Technical Working Group, headed by Vice-President for Administration, Planning, and Finance Dr. Oscar C. Barawid Jr., and Vice-President for Academic Affairs Dr. Ma Luz Cabatan. The session was graced by the unwavering support of our President, Dr. Renato G. Reyes, who remains a steadfast champion of ASCOT's initiatives.
Before beginning her presentation, Dean Dina Magnaye did not forget to congratulate ASCOT, highlighting that both ASCOT and UP SURP are recipients of the prestigious Philippine Quality Award, recognized for exceptional commitment to quality management which was recently awarded on July 17, 2024.
