“CAFESTAHAN 2026: Celebrating Heritage and Excellence” 🌟💚

The final day of CAFESTAHAN 2026 ended with fun, excitement, and unity as students celebrated the successful conclusion of this year’s college week. The day started with the Local Convention Contests, where students from Agriculture (FLP), Forestry (FSO), Food Technology (PAFT), and Home Technology (PHT) showcased their skills, talents, and knowledge in their respective fields.

In the afternoon, students participated in the “Laro ng Lahi,” where different CAFES programs came together to enjoy traditional Filipino games. The activity brought happiness, teamwork, and camaraderie among students, truly showing the spirit of “One Community.”

The event concluded with the Awarding Ceremony and Raffle Draw, where participants were recognized for their hard work and achievements. During his closing remarks, Mr. J’ Boy P. Maravilla, FLP Adviser, congratulated the students for their active participation and reminded everyone that CAFESTAHAN 2026 reflected the unity, growth, and excellence of the CAFES community.

The celebration ended with a socialization segment featuring guest performers BLACKROSE, giving students unforgettable memories and a meaningful ending to this year’s CAFESTAHAN.

Through every activity and shared experience, CAFESTAHAN 2026 strengthened the bond of the CAFES family and reminded everyone that together, we continue to grow and succeed. 💚💗

CAFESTAHAN 2026: A Milestone of Community and Innovation 🌾🌟

The first day of CAFESTAHAN 2026 officially commenced with a vibrant atmosphere at the ASU Amphitheater, bringing together the entire CAFES community. The program opened with the preliminaries, followed by the Welcome Remarks of Dr. Eva R. Orlina, CAFES Dean, who emphasized the importance of unity as the college formally launched this year’s festivities. This was followed by an Inspirational Message from Dr. Jeffrey A. Clarin, SUC President III, who encouraged students to pursue excellence and collaboration in their academic journeys.

The invited speakers provided insightful discussions ontheir professional experiences. Featuring Mr. Emmanuel Soviet Russia A. Dela Cruz, Executive Director of Aklan- Agri-Aqua Demonstration Farm and Training Center, shared his experiences in agriculture and encourage the students to take pride in their chosen field and recognize its vital role in society. Mr. Rex M. Querubin, a licensed Professional Food Technologist, discussed the significant impact of food safety concerns on students and emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards in the field and Ms. Mitchell April Rose Tamayo, Forester at DENR-PENRO Aklan, emphasized the importance of forest conservation and sustainable environmental practices in preserving natural resources for future generations. Their expertise helped bridge the gap between academic learning and professional application.

The program concluded with a photo opportunity, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the speakers to formally open the festive booth competition, showcasing student products from the four academic programs under the college.

The energy continued into the afternoon as students participated in various skills-based competitions, including the Research Symposium Contest, which showcased undergraduate research studies; the Mystery Box Cooking Contest, which tested the culinary creativity of student groups; and the Dish Garden and Flower Arrangement Contests, which highlighted artistic and technical agricultural skills.

Through these activities, the first day of CAFESTAHAN 2026 successfully demonstrated the practical knowledge, creativity, and competitive spirit that define the CAFES community. 💚💗

Cheers to a year of teamwork, growth, and endless laughs! 🎉 Today’s PAFT and PHT Year End Party brought together our amazing PAFT officers, dedicated PHT officers, and incredible students — the exact people who turned every goal into a success this year.

The day kicked off with an early morning talk by Prof. Josephine R. Pajo, RND, who shared invaluable “Health Holiday Eating Tips” — practical advice on staying balanced and nourished while enjoying the festive season. After that, we dived straight into afternoon collaborations, tackled those fun games and prizes, and stopped to cheer on every single small win.🥳💗

Along the way, we filled with stories, genuine smiles, and those silly dance breaks that never failed to lighten even the longest, most demanding days. So grateful for every second of this journey with this incredible team! 🥂✨
