What a wonderful and productive afternoon as we officially gathered for our very first FT & HT General Assembly! ๐ It was a meaningful way to kick off the new academic yearโcoming together as one community, reconnecting with fellow students, and setting the tone for the lessons, activities, and memories weโll create along the way.
The program began with warm and inspiring welcome remarks delivered by ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐ฅ๐ผ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ผ ๐. ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ ๐๐๐, MSc (Chair, BSFT Program), setting a positive and encouraging atmosphere for everyone.
An introduction of the faculty and staff was presented by ๐๐ฟ. ๐๐ฟ๐น๐ ๐. ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ด๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐ผ (Chair, BSHT Program). Following the declaration of quorum by the secretaries of PAFT and PHT, the assembly agenda was presented by PAFT President, Ms. Angel Acibar.
RCh, then guided us through a detailed overview of the courses designed for both FT and HT curricula, helping us gain a clearer understanding of the skills weโll master and the milestones weโll reach. Following this, ๐ ๐. ๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ฐ๐ฒ๐น ๐ฅ. ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐บ๐ถ๐ MAED-HE, took the stage to present the prescribed uniform, laboratory attire, and grooming standards for every Home Technology and Food Technology studentโemphasizing that wearing the prescribed uniform reflects professionalism, discipline, cleanliness, proper grooming, and pride in our programs. Since both courses involve laboratory work and future careers in food- and hospitality-related industries, proper attire is essential for safety, hygiene, and professional readiness.
RND, MAHE, presented the Academic Policies to give students a clear understanding of the academic standards, grading system, attendance requirements, and guidelines set by the department.
Most importantly, we extended a warm and enthusiastic welcome to our newly elected ๐ฃ๐๐๐ง ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฃ๐๐ง ๐ข๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐, who are excited to lead, serve, and stand alongside us as we make this school year meaningful, organized, and full of growth.
This assembly was more than just a meetingโit was the start of our journey together: learning with purpose, collaborating with heart, supporting one another, and making this our most unforgettable chapter yet!
