The NarsTrack Project was awarded as the Best Paper at the 8th International Conference on Smart Computing and Informatics, hosted by Swinburne Vietnam at its Hanoi location and conducted via a hybrid format, April 29-30.
NarsTrack is a specialized digital tracking application built to modernize patient record management for nurses, with a primary focus on school clinic environments, and aims to address the common challenges of traditional paper-based documentation.
The system bridges the gap between nursing informatics and practical healthcare by integrating secure logins, real-time data retrieval, vital signs documentation, and optional QR code scanning for faster patient identification.
The team consisted of Andreana C. Abellera, Rechmon F. Compayan, Herby Ann Nicole G. Bastareche, Kyla Estanislao, Myka Beric, Kianna Dela Peรฑa, Xamantha Carillo, Ana Melrine Colindon, Khersty Mei Dionela, and Fe Amor Delos Santos was selected for the top honor by the conference steering committee and session chairs.
Furthermore, the achievement presents numerous opportunities for the researchers, as their paper is currently being prepared for publication in the Springer-LNNS Series, which is indexed in Scopus. The organizers have also extended an opportunity for the authors to participate in future Springer conferences.
The 8th International Conference on Smart Computing and Informatics is dedicated to offering a centralized forum for innovative and cross-disciplinary research in the fields of smart computing and informatics.
