Participants and visitors are now welcome to explore the different exhibits showcasing innovation, creativity, and technology.

The exhibits feature impactful technologies from various ICT organizations and DIT MSMEs.

This afternoon, various sessions and discussions will also be conducted in designated rooms within CLIRDEC, featuring engaging topics and activities that aim to inspire learning, collaboration, and innovation among participants.

𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗢𝗪 | The 3rd ICT Forum has officially started with its opening program, as Ms. Marilen Adriano, the Vice President of Access Network sets the tone by welcoming the guests of the event.

With the theme “𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲: 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐚𝐩𝐬, 𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞”, the forum’s opening program will host various talks led by various ICT industry leaders tackling topics related to agriculture and education.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | CLSU, DOST, and Partners Formalize AI-Driven Smart City Initiative in Muñoz

MUÑOZ, NUEVA ECIJA — A collaborative initiative toward smart and sustainable urban development was formally sealed through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on April 16, 2026, at Balai ti Muñoz.

The agreement brings together the Department of Science and Technology – Central Luzon, the Local Government Unit of the Science City of Muñoz, Central Luzon State University, and Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology to advance innovation-driven and sustainable city development.

Dr. Marlon Naagas, Project Leader and faculty member from the Department of Information Technology of Central Luzon State University, formally signed a key initiative alongside team members Dr. Anazel Gamilla, Mary Camille Rabang, and Santi Ognita, marking a significant academic contribution to the city’s smart development efforts.

The partnership aims to strengthen data-driven governance, enhance public service delivery, and promote the integration of innovative technologies across sectors within the city.

Present during the signing ceremony were Julius Caesar V. Sicat, Regional Director of DOST–Central Luzon; Leidi Mel B. Sicat, Provincial Director of DOST Nueva Ecija; Baby Armi L. Alvarez, City Mayor of the Science City of Muñoz; Rhodora R. Jugo, President of Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology; and Dr. Ariel G. Mactal, Vice President for Administration of Central Luzon State University.

Central to the initiative is the implementation of the Smart City Data Integration (SCDI) Hub, which is expected to enhance data management, system integration, and evidence-based decision-making for the local government.

Through this unified effort, partner institutions reaffirm their commitment to building a smarter, more resilient, and future-ready Science City of Muñoz.
