September is here, bringing with it Tourism Month and, of course, the reality check called midterm season.

But despite everything we’ve been through over the past few months, be proud of yourself. We’ve come so far, and somehow, we’re still here—still learning, still laughing, still growing, and still finding reasons to keep going.

Another month, another season to get through. Whatever comes our way, kakayanin natin. One day, one deadline, one exam, and one “kaya pa ’to” at a time. 🤍

They may not wear capes.

But they stood up, fought for what was right, and gave us freedom.

Today, we remember more than what they fought for—we remember who they were. The stories they left behind, the courage they carried, and the mark they made on a nation that would continue long after them.

They remind us that being a hero was never about having superpowers, it was about having the courage to stand when it mattered.

This is the biggest month of the year for our furry friends. May we take this moment to make them feel genuinely seen, cared for, and loved in the purest form that it can be, as they are deserving and worthy of every inch of it.

With our furry friends, 𝘸𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮 𝘰𝘧 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘗𝘈𝘞𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮—whether it be a newly born fur baby or an old furry friend.

As we celebrate our fur babies, may we never forget our stray dogs roaming around in the middle of nowhere with teary eyes full of so much loyalty underneath, while no one stayed long enough to see, hoping that kindness will find its way to them in the form of a safe place, a bowl of food, and the gentlest form of touch.

As our own little way of making them feel genuinely loved and gently cared for, AToMS initiated a feeding drive by giving bowls of dog food to the stray dogs we crossed paths with within the university. It may seem small, but kindness always find its way to grow.

Leaving you this gentle reminder:

A moment worth celebrating, a journey worth remembering, and a queen worth applauding. Here's to Nicole Ashley Valiente, our second-year Tourism Management student, who carried herself with grace and confidence on the Miss AMIAN 2026 stage.

From representing Miss Bacsil with pride to being named 2nd Runner-Up, Nicole proved that being a queen is more than wearing a crown. It’s about showing up, giving your all, and carrying with you the dreams and love of those who believed in you.

The AToMazing Family celebrates not just the title, but the woman who stood beneath it. We are so proud of you, Nicole! 🎉

Through the collaboration of the Association of Tourism Management Students (AToMS) and Junior Association of Hospitality Practitioners (JAHP), the beauty of Indonesia was not only seen, but felt, tasted, and performed.

It showcased intricate crafts, vibrant textiles, traditional costumes carrying the beauty of generations, and Indonesian flavors offering a taste of heritage. Through traditional dances, expressive gestures, and captivating performances, Indonesia’s stories found their rhythm, where every step spoke of tradition and every beat echoed the heart of its heritage.

As ASEAN Month 2026: ‘Navigating Our Future, Together,’ was celebrated, cultures came together, ideas met creativity, hands met hard work, and every contribution helped bring the spirit of ASEAN to life.

Today, we honor Indigenous Peoples whose stories live beyond words, in woven patterns, songs, quiet rituals, and traditions passed from one pair of hands to another.

But honoring them means more than remembering their culture for a day.
It means listening when they speak.
It means respecting their stories and letting them remain theirs, not simply turning them into something for others to see.

This National Indigenous Peoples Day, may we walk gently on the paths they have protected and carry their stories with the respect they deserve.
