The Department of Chemical Engineering achieved a 77.78% institutional passing rate, surpassing the 77.61% national passing rate, with an outstanding 89.47% passing rate among first-time takers.

These results reflect the excellence, perseverance, and dedication of our students, faculty, and the entire MMSU community in advancing quality chemical engineering education.

The May 2026 Computer-Based Licensure Examination for Chemical Engineers is finally done! Now, we wait. But even just now, congratulations to all takers, specially graduates of the department for braving the 3-day examination. 💜

Today is General Mathematics Day. No more unit ops, no more thermodynamics. Just you, your calculator, and every equation you’ve been grinding on since Day 1.

Solve it like you mean it. Differentiate the doubt, integrate the effort, and find the solution. Reach your goal higher than the maxima point, and don’t stop until you cross that passing mark.

Keep pushing, future chemical engineers! You're almost there.

Day 1 of Chemical Engineering License Examination. You’re not just answering 100 items today. You’re proving that you can sit in the heat of a reaction and not decompose.

General and Physical Chemistry isn’t testing what you memorized. It’s testing whether you can stay steady when the system gets messy, when the variables don’t behave, when the answer isn’t obvious. That’s literally the job.

So treat each problem like a titration. Add focus drop by drop. Don’t overshoot. Don’t panic when the color changes late. The end point is coming. You’ve already been mixing for years.

Go show them you’re the catalyst, not the byproduct. Click confidently.

𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐌𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 | Chemical Engineering researchers brought pride to the department after earning First Runner-Up recognitions during the 2026 College of Engineering Annual Research Colloquium.

Session 1 featured the study of Enzy Yvonne B. Cuyo, Leinah B. Lomahan, and Ailene T. Taruc under the guidance of Engr. Shan Caezar L. Tambio titled: “𝘞𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘱𝘢𝘱𝘦𝘳-𝘋𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘚𝘶𝘭𝘧𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘊𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘶𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘗𝘰𝘭𝘺𝘱𝘩𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘭-𝘊𝘰𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘐𝘰𝘯 𝘌𝘹𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘙𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘯 𝘉𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘴 (𝘚𝘊𝘗𝘊𝘰𝘐𝘖𝘕𝘟) 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘓𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘐𝘰𝘯 (𝘗𝘣²⁺) 𝘙𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘭.”

Meanwhile, Session 2 highlighted the study of Aloha Marie L. Ortiz, Joanne P. Tolentino, and Raiza Clare A. Yagao under the guidance of Engr. Maria Carmina M.
