𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄?

The 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 wasn’t always the global organization we know today. Established on 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟰, 𝟭𝟵𝟰𝟱, it emerged from the ashes of World War II.

What started with 𝟱𝟭 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 now stands at 𝟭𝟵𝟯, each committed to upholding the principles of 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆.

MMSU Model United Nations is calling on students who are ready to lead with purpose and serve with impact. Each committee is a cornerstone of our work:

Internal Affairs Division – Oversees internal operations, documentation, and coordination with MMSU offices.

External Affairs Division – Builds partnerships, collaborations, and sponsorships outside the university.

Training and Delegation Division – Develops training programs, simulations, and prepares delegates for conferences.

Marketing and Public Relations Division – Manages campaigns, promotions, and the organization’s public image.

Creative Media Division – Produces visual and multimedia outputs that uphold professionalism and excellence.

Finance Division – Ensures transparency and accountability in managing organizational resources.

Protocol and Logistics Division – Guarantees smooth, professional ex*****on of all events and activities.

On this day, we observe the anniversary of the founding of the United Nations — a living testament to our collective responsibility for one world, one humanity.

As the challenges we face grow ever more complex, from human rights to climate change, United Nations Day reminds us that only by standing together can we bring about meaningful progress. Let us honour the ideals of the Charter and the promise of global cooperation.

Our 2-Day Delegate Mastery Workshop has officially come to a close!

Concluding the Day 2 is Mr. Marc Louie M. Pasion giving us the space to learn with his insightful dialogues, engaging activities, and empowering reflections that honed not just our delegates’ skills as a diplomat, but also as a citizen.

With all sessions completed, our delegates are now more than ready to take their seat on the upcoming South Luzon Model United Nations Conference 2025 at University of the Philippines Los Baños this October 24–26.

Here’s to two days of growth, collaboration, and purpose. Until the next conference—keep the spirit of diplomacy alive! 🌐💙

Concluding the second day of the Delegate Mastery Workshop, Mr. Marc Louie M. Pasion shared his insights in “Research and Fact‑Checking: Crafting Credible Positions.” His session underscored that credibility is vital to being a delegate, for it is the foundation of trust, respect, and effective leadership. 🌐💙

As we open the Day 2 of Diplomacy in Motion: Delegate Mastery Workshop, Mr. Thyrone Asuncion, the Undersecretary-General of External Affairs recapped the inspiring highlights of Day 1 — from Ms. Breanna Alcid’s in-depth discussion of the structure of MUN, to Mr. Joseph Rafael Liquete’s winning strategies to be a great diplomat, and Mr. Prince Ramos’ insights on conference setting.

Yesterday reminded us that diplomacy is both preparation and passion, and today, we continue taking our shot — with purpose. 🌐💙

Day 1 of the 2‑Day Delegate Mastery Workshop wrapped up with three out of four discussions, bringing new learnings and a strengthened commitment to diplomacy. This afternoon’s session was held at the Audio Visual Room, College of Arts and Sciences.

Today was not only about preparing delegates for the upcoming South Luzon Model United Nations at the University of the Philippines Los Baños, on October 24–26, but also about fostering collaboration and building skills.

See you all again tomorrow for Day 2 and more meaningful dialogues. 🌐💙
