NO CLASSES!

National Heroes Day
August 29, 2022

On this day, we pay tribute to the heroes of the Philippine Revolution—known and undiscovered—who valiantly battled and toiled for the liberation of the nation.

Our courageous men and women—whom we will always remember for their bravery and courage—poured their blood, sweat, and tears into the rebuilding of this country.

Let us also honor our contemporary heroes—the courageous and devoted medical professionals and vital frontliners who have consistently served as our nation's first line of defense in this ongoing COVID-19 battle—during this time when we are still up against an unseen adversary.

National Heroes Day is annually observed in accordance with Republic Act No. 9492, which establishes the last Monday of August of each year as a recognized national holiday.
