Batangas State University Alangilan - Extension Services Office along with the participation of College of Engineering Technology - Master of Technology, Sustainable Development - Alangilan, Local Government Unit of Brgy. Pagkilatan, and Divescape Hub, took part in the first Coral Crafting Activity entitled "Building a Blue Tomorrow" at Brgy. Pagkilatan, Batangas City. This initiative coincided with the University's Sustainable Development Goals effort by addressing challenges related to Life Below Water.
Engr. Lovely C. Aรฑonuevo delivered an insightful talk on the theme "Sustainablues: Mitigating Marine Pollution for Future Generations by emphasizing the urgency of addressing marine pollution and the long-term impact it has on the environment and future generations.
Coach Jericho Kua and Ma'am Anica Chan, from Divescape Hub and Mermaid Federation International, delivered a compelling talk on "Reef Keeping" focused on critical concepts of rebuilding, restoring, and safeguarding resilient marine ecosystems.
Through initiatives of this nature, Batangas State University - The National Engineering University reinforces its commitment to promoting positive change and advancing community support.
