📢 ADVISORY TO STUDENTS
The College of Arts and Sciences wishes to inform students, parents, and other concerned members of the University community that students who were unable to attend classes or scheduled academic activities on August 6, 7, and 8 will be given due consideration.
This applies to students enrolled in programs under the College of Arts and Sciences, as well as students from other colleges who are taking General Education courses.
Faculty members have been advised to provide appropriate and reasonable accommodations for missed activities, requirements, and other academic concerns. Students are encouraged to coordinate respectfully and promptly with their respective teachers regarding any work or activity that needs to be completed.
Should a student encounter any concern or difficulty in making the necessary academic arrangements, the Office of the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences is open to assist and help facilitate an appropriate resolution.
Our aim is to ensure that students are given a fair opportunity to catch up on missed academic work without being unduly disadvantaged, while maintaining responsible communication and academic accountability.
The College remains committed to fostering a learning environment marked by fairness, understanding, compassion, and concern for the well-being of our students.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Stay safe, everyone.
