𝗙𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲: 𝗔 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗜𝗬 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Last 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the PICE-UBSC proudly took part in a meaningful community outreach activity at 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗰𝗼, 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘀 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆. Through the program “𝗙𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲: 𝗔 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗜𝗬 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻,” we shared essential knowledge on water safety and demonstrated simple yet effective water filtration techniques.

This initiative not only empowered the community—especially the youth—with practical skills, but also allowed our Civil Engineering students to extend their learning beyond the classroom and into real-world impact.

𝗖𝗘𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿: 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

Held last April 21, 2026, the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers – University of Batangas Student Chapter (PICE-UBSC) successfully conducted the CE Project Seminar Series 3 via Google Meet.

The session featured Engr. Bonifacio A. Blanco, who shared valuable professional insights and real-world applications in quantity take-off, cost planning, and project cost management—essential skills for every future civil engineer.

A day of purpose, teamwork, and service! Last 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, we successfully carried out our 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 at 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗮 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗰 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹.

Through this initiative, we aimed to create a safer, more vibrant, and conducive learning environment for the students. From inspecting facilities to applying fresh coats of paint and completing minor repairs, every effort was fueled by our commitment to serve the community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated and supported this initiative. Together, we continue to build, design, and serve for a better tomorrow.
