IN PHOTOS | MIDTERM EXAMINATION AND TRAINING ACTIVITY OF ROTC CADETS

“Excellence in both knowledge and skills defines a true cadet.”

On 17 April 2026, the LIMA/LPU-B ROTC Unit successfully conducted the Midterm Examination for all ROTC enrollees at the POB Building, Lima Campus, under the supervision of LTC JOVEN B PUYONGAN (INF) PA, Commandant of the unit.

In the morning, cadets first conducted attendance, followed by formation before proceeding to their respective POB rooms to take the examination. After completing the Midterm Examination, cadets re-formed and were given training on rifle handling and proper marching, enhancing their discipline, coordination, and overall readiness.

The activity emphasized both academic excellence and practical military skills, developing well-rounded and capable citizen-soldiers. The training and examination concluded exactly at 1100H.

The ROTC Unit extends its appreciation to the ROTC Staff for their guidance and successful facilitation of both the examination and training activities.

Please be informed that the MIDTERM
EXAMINATION for all ROTC enrollees of the LIMA/LPU-B ROTC Unit will be held on 17 April 2026 at the POB Building Lima Campus.

Attendance is a must. All ROTC cadets are expected to be in proper uniform and must arrive on time. Strict compliance is expected.

Note:
Assembly area will be at the Gymnasium, then cadets will proceed to their respective POB rooms for the Midterm Examination.

On 10 April 2026, the Lyceum International Maritime Academy ROTC Unit successfully conducted the 10th Training Day of Basic Cadets MS-2 under the supervision of LTC JOVEN B PUYONGAN (INF) PA, Commandant of the unit.

The training commenced 0630H at the LIMA Gymnasium, where cadets and cadettes assembled for attendance and formation, ensuring accountability and proper organization of all personnel. The activity proceeded with four lectures, followed by quizzes to assess the cadets’ understanding and retention of the discussed topics. The training emphasized discipline, attentiveness, and active participation during academic instruction.

The structured training enhanced the cadets’ knowledge, tactical awareness, and overall readiness as future citizen-soldiers.

The activity concluded at 1100H, marking another productive training day in shaping disciplined, capable, and patriotic individuals. The LPU-LIMA ROTC Unit extends its appreciation to the ROTC Staff for their guidance and support in the successful conduct of the training.

ATTENTION!!!

All Basic Cadets of Military Science 2 will gather at the Gymnasium, LIMA Campus on 10 April 2026 (0630H–1100H) for the ROTC 10th Training Day. The activity will emphasize academic readiness as cadets prepare for four (4) lectures and a quiz, reinforcing their knowledge in military science and core ROTC principles.

Cadets are expected to demonstrate focus, discipline, and commitment to learning—embodying the ROTC values of Honor, Patriotism, and Duty. 🇵🇭

On 13 March 2026, the Lyceum International Maritime Academy ROTC Unit successfully conducted the 8th Training Day of Basic Cadets MS-2 under the supervision of LTC JOVEN B PUYONGAN (INF) PA, Commandant of the unit.

Cadets and cadettes assembled at the LIMA Gymnasium for the checking of attendance and formation before proceeding with Dismounted Drills and practical exercises on Squad Formation and Movement Technique. The training emphasized discipline, alertness, and proper ex*****on of commands during formations.

At 0955H, cadets were given a short break, and at 1010H, they returned to formation to continue the activity. The cadets were organized into 9-man squads and practiced different squad movements including Squad Column, Squad Line, and Squad File, enhancing their coordination and understanding of unit maneuvering during drills.

The activity concluded at 1100H, marking another productive training day in shaping disciplined, capable, and patriotic citizen-soldiers. The LPU-LIMA ROTC Unit extends its appreciation to the ROTC Staff for their guidance and support in the successful conduct of the training.

The Reserve Officers’ Training Corps continues to play an important role in shaping the youth to become responsible citizens and future leaders who are ready to serve the nation.

ATTENTION!!!

The Lyceum International Maritime Academy ROTC Unit will conduct the MS-2 8th Training Day and Formation on 13 MARCH 2026 at the designated training area.

All MS-2 Cadets and Cadettes are hereby directed to report 0630H sharp in proper prescribed uniform. Cadets must also bring an extra white shirt for the scheduled training activities.

Attendance is a MUST. All concerned are expected to demonstrate discipline, punctuality, and readiness as we continue to strengthen military knowledge, develop leadership skills, of the unit.

On 6 March 2026, the Lyceum International Maritime Academy ROTC Unit successfully conducted the 7th Training Day of Basic Cadets MS-2 under the supervision of LTC JOVEN B PUYONGAN (INF) PA, Commandant of the unit.

Cadets and cadettes assembled at the LIMA Gymnasium for checking of attendance and formation before proceeding with the proper positioning of the platoons. With discipline and coordination, the cadets demonstrated their understanding of formation and organization within their respective units.

The activity concluded at 1100H, marking another productive training in developing disciplined, capable, and patriotic citizen-soldiers.

On 27 February 2026, the Lyceum International Maritime Academy ROTC Unit successfully held the Preliminary Examination of Basic Cadets MS-2 under the supervision of LTC JOVEN B PUYONGAN (INF) PA, Commandant of the unit.

Cadets and cadettes assembled at the LIMA Gymnasium for accounting and briefing before proceeding by batches to their assessment rooms. With discipline and determination, they faced the examination that tested their knowledge, military foundation, and leadership principles.

The activity concluded at 1100H, marking another milestone in shaping disciplined, capable, and patriotic citizen-soldiers.

The LPU-LIMA ROTC Unit extends its heartfelt thanks to Professor Glenn Geron and Professor John Edward Umali for their invaluable assistance during the Preliminary Examination of Basic Cadets MS-2.
