๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฝ๐๐พ ๐พ๐ผ๐๐๐๐ โ In a monumental achievement for the College of Agriculture and Forestry, ๐๐ค๐ฃ. ๐๐ฎ๐ก๐ก๐ ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐ค๐ง๐๐ง๐๐ค was officially elected on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, as the new Speaker of the House of Representatives for the Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) Bayawan-Santa Catalina Campus.
The high-stakes election, which concluded , saw the consolidation of the campus's student leadership as representatives cast their votes for the core executive positions of the legislative body. By securing the speakership, Madam Speaker Honorario officially assumes the highest office within the campusโs legislative branch, positioning her as a pivotal figure in shaping student policy, fiscal appropriations, and campus legislation for the upcoming academic year.
Madam Speaker Honorario will lead a dynamic, newly elected roster of core house officers. As head of the legislative branch, her mandate will include presiding over plenary sessions, guiding the deliberation of student ordinances, and ensuring that the voices of all collegesโparticularly the agricultural sectorโare fiercely and equitably represented in the student government.
