The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA) has issued Memorandum Circular No. 112, Series of 2026, officially excusing all Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) students from their classes starting at 3:00 PM today, September 22, 2026. This excusal allows students to attend the PSME-VSUSC Commemoration and Social Assembly 2026, themed "The METronome: A revelry of mechanical passion and igniting fashion," held at the RDE Hall. All covered students are advised to coordinate directly with their instructors to arrange for any missed academic requirements, and the complete list of excused students remains attached to the official memorandum.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: The Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers – VSU Student Council (PSME-VSUSC) successful held its 2nd General Assembly for AY 2025–2026 on Friday, September 5, at the EB-SLH.

The gathering marked a major planning for the organization. All members received financial updates and also spearheaded the planning for two highly anticipated events: the upcoming Acquaintance Party and Salingkusog 2026, showing that the council’s proactive vision is setting the stage for a standout year.

Driven by the momentum of this successful event, PSME-VSUSC gears up for the future with renewed energy, dedicated to empowering Mechanical Engineering students and engineering a dynamic, engaging campus experience.

Please be informed that the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs has issued Memorandum Circular No. 71, Series of 2026, regarding the Excusal of BSME Students for attending the 𝗠𝗘 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

In line with this, all Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) students are 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 from their scheduled classes or training on 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟯 (𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆), 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM to give way to the BSME Student Orientation at the FE SLH.

Attendance and active participation are highly encouraged as we welcome the student body to this vital academic and organizational activity.
