With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved friend, brother, senior, and KapPAFTmilya, James Vincent Milla.

JV was one of the warmest and most genuine souls in our department and beyond. As a student of the Department of Food Science and Technology, he was known not only for his intelligence but also for his kindness and sincerity, and he was deeply loved by the faculty and staff. He served as the Secretary of the Philippine Association of Food Technologists Kappa Student Chapter, carrying his responsibilities with dedication and humility. More than his achievements, it was his presence and compassion that truly defined him.

Wherever JV went, he brought light. His laughter was comforting, his presence reassuring, and his kindness quietly uplifting. In moments of exhaustion, he had a way of making things feel lighter simply by being there for others. He never hesitated to extend help, always ready to support others in their studies and even in life.

As we grieve his untimely passing, we ask for your prayers for the peaceful repose of his soul, and for strength and comfort for the family and friends he leaves behind.
