𝗡𝗩𝗦𝗨 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟯𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝗝𝗠𝗣 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆

The College of Business Education (CBE), Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) proudly celebrates the University’s recognition during the 35th Anniversary Celebration of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Region II on September 2, 2026, at NGN Gran Hotel, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

NVSU received a Plaque of Recognition for its unwavering commitment to BJMPRO-II’s thrusts, programs, and activities, highlighting the University’s continuing efforts in research, extension, community engagement, and livelihood development for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).

Among the initiatives contributing to this partnership is “Bridging Bars to Markets: Enhancing Market Access for PDL-Crafted Livelihood Products,” led by Dr. Renalee V. Valenzuela in partnership with DTI. The project produced key outputs such as product branding, trademark registration with IPOPHL, a product catalogue, promotional videos, and a policy output to strengthen the market access and sustainability of PDL-crafted products.

Its continuation, “Bridging Bars to Markets Phase II,” has also been approved through NVSU Board of Regents Resolution No. 02-03-028, s. 2026, alongside “Empowering PDLs through Sustainable Livelihood and Capability Building,” led by Ms. Flormelyn D. Tumenez, with Dr. Valenzuela as project proponent.

For the CBE, this recognition symbolizes the power of research, innovation, and extension in creating meaningful opportunities for empowerment, livelihood development, and community reintegration.

𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦 | 𝗠𝗿. & 𝗠𝘀. 𝗖𝗕𝗘 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 PART 1

Lights, confidence, and elegance filled the NVSU Gymnasium last August 20, 2026, as the College of Business Education unveiled its grandest and most anticipated pageant of the year Mr. and Ms. CBE 2026.

From the Closed Panel Interview and Sashing Ceremony to the Tree Planting Activity, Creative Attire Exhibit, and the Grand Coronation Night, the candidates embarked on a journey that tested their grace, intellect, leadership, and purpose. This year's search became one of the longest and most dynamic pageant experiences in CBE history.

At the conclusion of the competition, Neshle Jan N. Cabarrabang of Financial Management and Florenz Lou T. Florendo of Marketing Management were crowned the new Mr. and Ms. CBE 2026👑.

The pageant celebrated not only beauty and confidence but also character, advocacy, and the commitment to inspire others through leadership and service.

𝐒𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐝𝐞𝐞 𝐊𝐫𝐮𝐛/𝐊𝐡𝐚! 🇹🇭

In celebration of 𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗡 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 on August 25, the College of Business Education proudly represented the Kingdom of Thailand, showcasing its rich culture, vibrant traditions, and remarkable heritage while demonstrating the talents, creativity, and excellence of its students.

Throughout the event, CBE participants displayed outstanding skills across various competitions. Representing the college in the Quiz Bowl were Mhelborne Ignacio, Jan Micoh Gumisad, Keren Ullani and Marriane Kit Ramos, Rihanna Cabanting Joy Salazar, while Mikaela Shane Movida showcased her literary talent in the Pagsulat ng Tula. Meanwhile, Mayumi Allem Blase, Janmar Hora, Shiny Viernes, Mariele Marquez, and Yancy Charles Espiritu, demonstrated their creativity and technical expertise in the Same Day Edit bringing the spirit of ASEAN to life through visual storytelling.

More than just a celebration, ASEAN Month served as a meaningful reminder of the unity, diversity, and shared aspirations of Southeast Asian nations.
