𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | Marian Beauties took center stage at the recently concluded Binibining Bayombong 2026, joining 21 candidates who came together to celebrate beauty, confidence, and the stories of young women from Bayombong.

Representing the Marian community were Thea Marielle C. Santos ( #1), BS Psychology alumna; Mikeisha Deandra P. Logan ( #4), SMU-SHS Alumna; Frances Gwen F. Barrozo ( #6), BS Architecture 5; Mariah Ryzanjela C. Mina ( #7), BS Psychology 3; Zoe Sarah Myriam L. Labay ( #10), BS Nursing Alumna; Donalene J. Calatero ( #11), BS Tourism Management; Ashanti Jade C. Moreno ( #15), BS Civil Engineering 4; Maria Luisa DV Liban ( #17), BS Pharmacy 4; and Michaela M. Brondial ( #19), BS Nursing.

Each brought her own story, personality, and strengths to the competition. Together, they showed that Marian women can confidently take their place on a stage beyond the university and represent their community with grace and pride.

From the halls of Saint Mary’s University to the grandest stage of Bayombong, nine remarkable Marian students and alumni are ready to make their presence known as they compete for the coveted crown of Binibining Bayombong 2026.

They come with beauty, intelligence, confidence, and grace—but beyond the stage, they carry something even greater: the Marian spirit. They represent a community that believes in women who lead with purpose, stand with confidence, and inspire others through their character and excellence.

To our Marian Queens, tonight is your moment. Wear your confidence. Own the stage. Let your stories, strength, and individuality shine. May the crown find its rightful queen, but may every Marian woman who steps onto that stage leave a mark worthy of remembering. 👑

As the Academic Year 2026–2027 begins, the Department of Human Kinetics and Culture and the Arts Education (HK-CAEd) proudly recognizes the faculty members who have been entrusted with leadership and advisory responsibilities that will continue to shape the academic, athletic, and cultural life of Saint Mary's University.

Leading the department is Mr. Niño N. Baldonado, who assumes the role of Department Head of HK-CAEd while also serving as Coordinator of the University Sports Development Program Office. His appointment marks the beginning of a new chapter for the department—one built on collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to developing students both inside and outside the classroom.

The University's cultural community likewise continues to thrive under the leadership of Ms. Ronda L. Navalta, who has been reappointed as Head of the Cultural Affairs Office. Through her dedication and vision, the arts have remained a meaningful avenue for students to discover their talents, strengthen their character, and proudly represent the Marian community.

Supporting this mission are two educators whose passion for mentoring has inspired generations of student artists. Mr. Dalarry L. Duldulao continues to guide SMU Teatro Publiko, while Ms. Ronna Chiehann J. Vidal remains at the helm of the Marian Dance Troupe. Their continued reappointment reflects not only the confidence placed in their leadership but also the lasting impact they have made in cultivating discipline, creativity, and excellence among student performers.

As a department, we celebrate this new chapter with gratitude and optimism. May the year ahead bring renewed energy, meaningful accomplishments, and continued success in every endeavor. We wish our faculty leaders God's abundant guidance and blessings as they continue to serve the University and the Marian community with dedication and purpose.

Today, we celebrate not only a promotion, but a remarkable journey of leadership, service, and unwavering commitment.

For 24 years, Dr. Mary Grace M. Bulatao has led our department with dedication, humility, and a genuine concern for every student, faculty member, and colleague. From the Physical Education, Health and Music Department (PEHM), to MAPEH Department, and the Department of Physical Education (DPED), her leadership has remained a constant source of strength, inspiration, and excellence.

Her years as our Department Head have shaped countless lives, nurtured future educators, and strengthened the foundation of our department. Beyond her achievements, she has always been a mentor who listened, encouraged, and believed in the potential of the people around her.

As she begins a new chapter as the newly appointed Dean of Student Affairs and Services, we know that the same passion, integrity, and heart for service will continue to guide her in this greater responsibility.

Your DPED family is deeply grateful for your years of dedicated leadership. While your office may change, the impact you have made on our department will always remain.
