𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐚𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬, we gather not only to learn, but to listen, honor, and celebrate the wisdom, culture, and traditions of our people.

Join us for a meaningful day of learning, cultural appreciation, and community solidarity as we celebrate 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬’ 𝐃𝐚𝐲.

May this gathering remind us that the law, like the “ili” we call home, must be rooted in respect, nurtured by our shared humanity, and guided by the wisdom of our ancestors.

For the rights of Indigenous Peoples are not mere words inscribed in law, but living legacies embodied in their land, culture, and identity.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃. 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐏𝐔𝐒𝐇. 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐃𝐀𝐘. ⚖️💙

Three days of questions. Countless nights of preparation. Years of choosing to keep going even when the journey felt overwhelming.

To our SMU Bar Examiners, today is not simply the end of an examination. It is the closing of a chapter built on sacrifice, perseverance, and faith.

As you answer each question today, remember that you do not walk into that room alone. Behind you are your families who believed, friends who encouraged, mentors who guided, professors who challenged you, and an entire Marian community praying for you.

May God steady your hearts when doubt creeps in, sharpen your minds when the questions get difficult, and give you the peace to trust everything you have worked so hard to learn.

No more looking back. No more second-guessing the journey.

To our barristers, as you take your seats inside the testing centers one last time today, remember how far you’ve come. You carry with you the sacrifices of the past, the prayers of your families, the guidance of your mentors, and the pride of the entire Marian community.

We wrap you in our final prayers, love, and unwavering faith. Leave it all on the desk and trust that God will complete the good work He started in you.

Claiming victory, peace of mind, and ultimate success over every single one of you today. God bless your hands and minds as you cross the finish line! 💙🙏✨
