IT DAY 2026 | PART II – AFTERNOON SESSION

The Future Information Technologists Society (FITS) continued its IT Day 2026 celebration with a meaningful afternoon session filled with learning, relaxation, and recognition of student achievements.

Following the morning activities, IT students enjoyed a movie-watching session, providing them with an opportunity to unwind and strengthen camaraderie. The afternoon also featured a seminar on the Microsoft Student Community, offering valuable insights into technology, digital learning, and opportunities for student engagement in the tech community.

The celebration concluded with an awarding ceremony, recognizing the outstanding performances, efforts, and achievements of participants in the various competitions. Following the program, members and participants took part in a general cleaning or mass work activity, demonstrating their commitment to cleanliness, responsibility, teamwork, and care for the event venue.

Through these activities, FITS IT Day 2026 highlighted not only technical excellence and continuous learning but also the importance of unity, sportsmanship, and collective responsibility among aspiring IT professionals.

IT DAY 2026 | PART I – MORNING SESSION

The Future Information Technologists Society (FITS) successfully conducted its first-ever IT Day 2026 – Part I: Morning Session, featuring a series of engaging and skill-oriented activities designed to promote technological knowledge, creativity, teamwork, and innovation among participants.

The morning session featured various competitions, including Quiz Byte, LAN Cabling, HTML Coding, System Prompting, Mobile Legends 1v1 Tournament, and PUBMAT Editing. These activities provided participants with opportunities to showcase their technical expertise, critical-thinking abilities, creativity, and competitive spirit.

The event also featured informative seminars on PC Assembly and Disassembly and the Microsoft Student Community, offering valuable insights into computer hardware and encouraging active participation in technology-driven learning communities.

Through these activities, FITS IT Day 2026 reaffirms the organization's commitment to promoting digital literacy, strengthening technical competencies, fostering collaboration, and encouraging innovation among aspiring IT professionals. 💻👨‍💻

RISE 2026: Responsible Individuals for Service and Empowerment

The Future Information Technologists Society (FITS), under the College of Information Technology Education (CITE), successfully conducted RISE 2026: Responsible Individuals for Service and Empowerment on September 28, 2026, carrying the theme “Building Leaders, Strengthening Communities.”

The activity commenced with a Clean-Up Drive held at Saint Dominic de Guzman Cathedral and the Nueva Vizcaya People’s Museum, promoting environmental responsibility, community participation, and appreciation for cultural heritage.

In the afternoon, FITS officers participated in a Leadership Training held at Jewel’s Private Resort, Bonfal Proper, Bayombong, which focused on strengthening leadership skills, teamwork, accountability, and decision-making.

Through RISE 2026, FITS continues to uphold its commitment to developing responsible individuals and future leaders who actively contribute to their communities and promote meaningful service and empowerment.

The initiative also supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, SDG 13: Climate Action, and SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.

Today, 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 (𝗙𝗜𝗧𝗦) proudly recognizes the participation of four BSIT students and one CITE faculty member from 𝗡𝘂𝗲𝘃𝗮 𝗩𝗶𝘇𝗰𝗮𝘆𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 – 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗡𝗩𝗦𝗨-𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗘) in 𝗛𝗮𝗰𝗸𝟱𝗚𝗼𝘃 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, held at 𝗖𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆–𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀, 𝗧𝘂𝗴𝘂𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗖𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻.
