On December 8, we celebrate the
Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

This day is central to the Catholic faith and is believed to be the beginning of our salvation. Pope Pius IX famously said that the Blessed Virgin Mary was, from the moment of her conception and by the grace of God, preserved immune from original sin.

May the feast of our Mother be a solemn one filled with her blessings!
