Bridging the Classroom and the Industry

Creotec Philippines, Inc. is honored to be recognized as an Industry Partner at the Industry Partners Appreciation Day 2026 of the UPHSL Engineering Architecture Aviation Student Council - EAASC , University of Perpetual Help System Laguna, held yesterday, September 29, 2026.

Through our On-the-Job Training partnership, UPHSL engineering students get hands-on exposure to real production environments. They learn the tools, processes, and standards that today's industry demands.

Industry is always changing, and so are the skills it needs. When schools and industry work together, what students learn keeps pace with what the workplace expects. Graduates then come in ready to contribute from day one, not just holding diplomas.

Our thanks to UPHSL for this appreciation and for trusting us with your future engineers. Here's to more years of building a competent, industry-ready workforce together!

Did you know a completed logbook isn't the whole grade? Work immersion also looks at how a trainee carries themselves on the job: how they communicate, take feedback, and work with people they didn't choose.

That's a harder thing to fake than attendance, and it's why Creotec builds it into the program on purpose. Instead of just logging hours, our trainees stand in front of an actual team and walk through a real progress report, in their own words, answering real questions about their own work.

It's uncomfortable the first time. It's also exactly the skill that carries over no matter where a trainee ends up next, whether that's a job interview, a client meeting for their own venture, or a thesis defense down the line.

Did you know a TESDA NC II assessment doesn't stop at watching your hands move? An assessor can stop you mid-task and ask you to explain what you just did and why.

That catches a lot of trainees off guard, and it's exactly the gap Creotec designed our immersion program to close. Trainees don't just sit at a station and repeat a motion. They're briefed on the concept behind every task first, so when it's their turn on the floor, they can explain what they're doing, not just perform it.

That difference shows up wherever a trainee goes next, whether it's an actual assessment, a job interview, running their own setup, or a college shop class that expects them to already know why, not just how.

At Creotec, quality control isn't just a clipboard and a checklist anymore. It's an app, a bench, and a trainee who has to make the same judgment call a technician would: pass, fail, or flag it for a second look.

That's the kind of decision-making a real industry setting hands to a trainee that a classroom simply can't. It's also exactly the muscle they'll need whether they land a job on a line like this, run their own small operation someday, or carry the habit of double-checking their own work into a college program.

Today's tip:

01. Follow the app's checklist in order — don't skip a step to save time.
02. Recheck a flagged unit yourself before escalating it to your supervisor.
03. Keep your device charged and logged in before your shift starts.

A certificate says you passed the standard. It doesn't say you can hold up under a real shift, a real deadline, or a real customer.

That's the gap between paper and practice, and it's exactly what a genuine work immersion is supposed to close. On the production floor, trainees log real units under real supervisors. In support roles, they troubleshoot real hardware for real end users. Same rigor, different bench.

Creotec's Work Immersion and Industry Exposure Program is built to give trainees both at once: the credential and the exposure, side by side, so that whatever they choose next, a job offer, a business idea, or a college course, they're walking in with proof they can already do the work, not just describe it.

TODAY'S THE DAY! The ROBOCLASH ROBOTICS TOURNAMENT is happening at SM City San Pablo!

DOST CALABARZON and Creotec Philippines, Inc. are bringing together the region's young innovators for Roboventure's Aspiring Makers, Line Tracing and RoboSoccer challenges.

Competitions like this are outcome-based learning in action. Students don't just study robotics and AI, they build, test, troubleshoot, and compete with real machines, turning classroom lessons into hands-on skills and confidence.

This event is also a milestone for both organizations: a partnership strengthening DOST-CALABARZON's and Creotec's shared drive to advance robotics and AI education and grow the next generation of Filipino innovators.
