ONE FORESTRY, ONE PURPOSE! 🌱

The Department Student Government (DSG) and Local Council (LC) successfully held the FIRST FORESTRY GENERAL MEETING, September 16, 2026, at the New Academic Building from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM! 💚

Driven by unity and shared goals, student leaders and Forestry students gathered to lay down critical plans, updates, and directives for the department.

📋 KEY AGENDAS DISCUSSED:

1. Introduction of the New Set of Forestry Officers (DSG & LC)
2. Pakighimamat 2026 Overview & Activity Planning
3. Identification & Screening of Student Participants
4 Discussion of Departmental Contribution Matters
5. Reopening of DSG & LC Elections

With the DSG handling executive governance and the LC spearheading ground operations, both organizations stand hand in hand to serve and elevate our student body throughout this academic year! 🤝🪵

NEW CHAPTER, SAME COMMITMENT: DSG & LC FORESTRY FIRST JOINT MEETING 🌱💚

Earlier today, September 14, 2026, the Department Student Government (DSG) and Local Council (LC) held their first joint meeting of the academic year at the Forestry Academic Building. Spearheaded by reappointed DSG Governor Patrick Gimongala, the session aimed to align organizational goals, streamline administrative workflows, and strengthen team synergy for the upcoming term. The meeting was guided by our esteemed advisers, For. Melchora B. Baculinao (DSG Adviser) and For. Catherine Hope M. Bustillo (OFF Adviser).

During the session, officers completed team introductions, clarified individual roles, and established standards for paperwork and social media management. The team also discussed plans for the DSG logo renewal and initial committee preparations for Pakighimamat 2026 and other upcoming events. With unified leadership and strong faculty support, the DSG and LC are ready to serve the Forestry student body with excellence and dedication! 💚
