After four days of intense competition, grit, and unity (April 27–30, 2026), the Organization of Future Foresters (OFF) and the Forestry Department have once again proven that we are a formidable force!

Despite the heavy challenges and the pressure of the competition, the spirit of the Alvarez Empire burned bright in every event. We are beyond proud to announce that the Forestry Department has officially secured the OVERALL 2ND PLACE for Pasundayag 2026! 🥈✨

Earth Day 2026 is a call to act now for the future of our home 🌿🌏. We already feel the effects of environmental challenges in our daily lives, and when our natural protection is not strengthened, it is our communities that are affected first.

As future foresters and your Forest Guardians, we believe that change is possible when people come together. Whether it is protecting our watersheds or advocating for our forests, every action counts. In return, a healthy planet gives us the clean water, food, and protection we all need to thrive.

The Forestry Department actively participated in the 16th University Day celebration held today, February 25, 2026, at the NEMSU Bislig Campus Gymnasium. It was a day of camaraderie and school spirit as our students represented the department in various competitions.

The following students were recognized for their outstanding performance:

All classes shall be conducted online (synchronous or asynchronous), following the respective course guidelines.

For areas with official class suspension or specific directives issued by the Local Government Unit (LGU), such directives shall be strictly observed, and no classes shall be held.

For areas where no LGU suspension has been declared, or where LGU suspension has already been lifted, online classes shall proceed as scheduled.

𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥
To prioritize safety amid prevailing weather conditions, a Work-from-Home (WFH) arrangement shall be implemented in areas without declared work suspension. Campus HR Offices are directed to activate the Online Daily Time Record (DTR) system to facilitate attendance and reporting.

All personnel and students are strongly advised to prioritize personal safety and remain updated through official University communication channels.

💍 SEALED WITH A SMILE: THE MARRIAGE BOOTH HIGHLIGHTS! 💒✨

Love and laughter were definitely in the air during the Bugkos Gugma celebration! The Organization of Future Foresters (OFF) was thrilled to host the campus-wide Marriage Booth, and we are still smiling at all the "unforgettable" ceremonies we witnessed. From the unexpected apprehensions to the hilarious bailouts, thank you to all the students from every department who participated with such great sportsmanship and joy! You turned our booth into a space of pure fun and connection.

A huge shoutout goes to our dedicated OFF Officers who roamed the campus with energy and to our supportive Forestry Faculty and Staff for helping us bring this activity to life. It was a pleasure to see so many pairs walk away with their certificates and new memories.

Thank you for letting us be a part of your Bugkos Gugma experience—we can’t wait to see who gets "arrested" next time! 👰🤵🚔

What an incredible day of unity at NEMSU Bislig! The Forestry Departmental Student Government (DSG) is so grateful to have been part of the amazing lineup of organizations that made this year’s Bugkos Gugma celebration a massive success. To the students from every department who visited our booths, played our games, and shared their energy with us—thank you for making our corner of the carnival so lively and memorable!

We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to our hardworking Forestry DSG Officers for their tireless dedication, as well as to our supportive Forestry Faculty and Staff whose guidance made all of this possible. It was an honor to work alongside our fellow campus organizations to bring the student body together for a day of fun and friendship. We’re already looking forward to the next one! 🌲💚
