Grace, elegance, and passion took place as CASS captivated the audience with a breathtaking portrayal of 𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐧𝐚𝐦'𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐦𝐞. Every detail of the national dress told a story of tradition, artistry, and identity which embodied Vietnamese culture with poise and confidence.

A proud moment for the 𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒈𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑨𝒓𝒕𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒔 (CASS) as we proudly bagged the 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐦𝐞 awards for both the Male and Female Categories during this morning’s Flag Ceremony!

The ASEAN National Costume Showcase was organized by the MarSU International Relations and Linkages Office, bringing the ASEAN spirit, culture, and creativity to life, with a theme “𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿”.

Representing the beauty and culture of 𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐓𝐍𝐀𝐌 🇻🇳, our stunning costumes stood out with their unique artistry and creativity. What made them even more special? The beautiful designs were 𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒅-𝒑𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒐𝒘𝒏 𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑪𝑨𝑺𝑺 𝒔𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔!

A special round of applause to our representative models, Mr. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧 𝐎𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐝𝐨 and Ms. 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐮𝐛𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐨𝐧𝐳𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬, for proudly showcasing the CASS entries and bringing Vietnam’s culture and beauty to life on stage. Ms. Gonzales shared the spotlight with the CICS representative, who showcased the beauty and richness of the Cordillera National Costume. A tie worth celebrating!

Marinduque State University (MarSU), represented by Ms. Rosalinda E. Punzalan, Program Head of the Bachelor of Science in Social Work (BSSW), joined the 37th Founding Anniversary Celebration of Childhope Philippines Foundation, Inc. on May 19, 2026, in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.

During the celebration, MarSU was honored with the 𝗛𝗢𝗣𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡: 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 in recognition of its nearly decade-long partnership and meaningful contributions to Childhope’s programs for children and youth in street situations.

This recognition reflects the University’s continued commitment to social responsibility, service-learning, community engagement, and the holistic development of future professionals. MarSU remains steadfast in strengthening its partnership with Childhope through its Field Instruction and On-the-Job Training (OJT) Programs.

The College of Arts and Social Sciences extends its sincere appreciation to University President, Professor Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta, for his unwavering support in fostering partnerships that create meaningful opportunities for student development, community service, and institutional advancement.
