The College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) celebrated its CASS Day on May 9, 2023, with the theme "Let CASS Rise Up: Stronger as One, Success for Everyone." Various programs were prepared by CASS students and officers for the day's celebration.

The day kicked off with a parade featuring the MSC Brass Band, CASS faculty, staff, and students. During the opening program, Dr. Victoriano R. Regio gave his welcome message, followed by Dr. Ernesto Largado, the Dean of the College, who delivered his opening remarks to the College and its students.

A general assembly was held to discuss the Constitution and student concerns.

Additionally, there was the CASS Talent Showcase or intermission, which highlighted selected students' talents. Following that, there was the Unity lunch, where all CASS students came together to share their prepared food.

In the afternoon, there was a pageant (King and Queen ARTSSO 2023) in which all three societies within CASS participated. The Socialization Night was the final event of the program.

This event was undoubtedly a memorable one that celebrated the talents and skills of students, while also strengthening the bonds between the College and its students.

“Earth Keepers”: MSC CES Celebrates 3rd Anniversary

The MSC Community salutes the College of Environmental Studies as it commemorates its 3rd Founding Anniversary with a three-day celebration inspired by this year’s theme, "Envi-Connect: Igniting the Affinity through Character, Courage, and Certainty."

The celebration, which lasts from May 8th to May 10th, 2023, comprises multiple activities that started today with a Quiz Bee, a Mobile Legends Tournament, Chess, and an Envi-Fair (exhibition) that will remain open throughout the celebration. The fair features different facets of Environmental Science and is worth a visit.

This significant milestone also celebrates three years of excellence and success in cultivating a generation of students who are committed to the noble cause of protecting and nurturing our natural environment. It also recognizes and applauds the impressive accomplishments of both the faculty and students, clearly demonstrating the College of Environmental Studies' strength and resilience in confronting any challenges that it may encounter in the future.

The CES, headed by Dean, Dr. Evangeline B. Mandia, extends its heartfelt appreciation to all who have poured in their unwavering dedication and untiring efforts to make this success a reality. This inspires them to achieve even greater things particularly in guiding and empowering the next generation of environmental champions, to take charge and safeguard our planet's future.

Here’s to another year of success and achievement!
