The Marinduque State University community, led by Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta, joins the nation in celebrating the Philippines’ remarkable gains in the 2025 Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA).

The Philippines achieved its highest-ever PISA performance, with scores rising by 20 points in Reading (367), 17 points in Science (373), and 16 points in Mathematics (371) from 2022. The country was also recognized as the fastest improving in Reading among participating education systems.

This milestone reflects the collective efforts of our learners, teachers, school leaders, and education partners, as well as the leadership of the Department of Education.

The University informs the public that an individual identifying himself as Ariel Sevillano reportedly represented himself as being from the Marinduque State University (MarSU) – Office of the President and contacted Botica Infant Jesus regarding a proposed project.

MarSU clarifies that, based on its records, Mr. Sevillano is not an employee of the Office of the President and has no authorization to represent the University or solicit projects on its behalf.

The public is advised to verify any similar representations or requests through University’s official communication channels.
