True healthcare education extends far beyond clinical mastery and academic lectures. It is fundamentally rooted in the quiet, everyday acts of empathy that touch people's lives.

Today, we take immense pride in recognizing Maricris S. Cabrera, a 4th year Nursing student who exemplifies the core values of Dr. Yanga's Colleges, Inc. both inside and outside the clinical setting. A grateful commuter recently reached out to express appreciation for Maricris, who thoughtfully offered her seat during a crowded afternoon ride to Malolos, choosing courtesy and respect for an elder over her own comfort.

It is simple, heartfelt moments like these that demonstrate our future nurses are not only equipped with clinical competence, but are truly guided by compassionate hearts.

154 out of 155 takers have officially passed the August 2026 Philippine Nursing Licensure Examination—a milestone we are deeply grateful and proud to share.

Behind this number are countless hours of studying, sleepless nights, whispered prayers, unwavering support, and the determination of every DYCIan Nurse who dared to dream.

A Send-Off Mass for the CHS Alumni (Batch Hiraya)

On August 24, the College of Health Sciences, led by Dean Teodora Delos Reyes, gathered for a meaningful Eucharistic Celebration offered as a send-off and prayerful blessing for their alumni board examinees, Batch Hiraya.

The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Ritz Darwin Resuello, who reminded the examinees to give themselves permission to breathe, rest, and quiet their minds in the remaining days before the board examination. Rather than allowing fear and pressure to take over, he encouraged them to trust in God and in the preparation they have made, take heart, and face the days ahead with peace and confidence. His message was a gentle reminder that they have already come so far—and that they do not have to carry the weight of the examination alone. For now, they can rest, pray, and allow God to take care of what they cannot control.

Go forth with faith, Batch Hiraya! Your DYCI family is praying with you, believing in you, and cheering you on. 🙏
