COLLEGE OF TEACHER EDUCATION DEPARTMENTAL ORIENTATION 2026

The College of Teacher Education warmly welcomes all First-Year Students and Transferees to the CTE Departmental Orientation.

This orientation is designed to familiarize students with the department's policies, academic standards, and support services. The program cover important topics, including the Rights of Students, Duties and Responsibilities of Students, Grievance Redressal System, Departmental Examination Procedures, Retention Policy, and an Open Forum where students may raise questions and concerns.

Through this activity, we aim to ensure that every student begins their journey in the College of Teacher Education with a clear understanding of their responsibilities, privileges, and the expectations of the department.

We encourage everyone to participate actively and make the most of this opportunity to learn, engage, and become part of the CTE community.

Training Future Educators, Transforming Young Lives

As part of Project REACH 2.0, the BKO Foundation conducted a training session for volunteer tutors from the College of Teacher Education (CTE). The activity equipped aspiring educators with essential tutoring strategies, learner-centered approaches, and mentoring skills necessary to effectively support the academic growth and development of beneficiary learners.

This initiative reflects the commitment of the BKO Foundation and partner institutions in fostering a culture of service, leadership, and educational excellence among future teachers. Through their dedication and passion for learning, these volunteer tutors are poised to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children they will serve.

PROJECT REACH 2.0

Last June 8, 2026, Project REACH 2.0 formally commenced with a courtesy call to the Municipal Mayor of San Remigio, Hon. Mariano Martinez, reaffirming the shared commitment of stakeholders toward community development and educational empowerment.

This meaningful initiative is a collaborative effort among Cebu Roosevelt Memorial Colleges (CRMC), University of the Visayas (UV), Benedicto College, and the BKO Foundation, working together to create positive and lasting impacts in the lives of the learners.

The courtesy visit was followed by an orientation attended by the parents and guardians of the beneficiaries from San Remigio Central Elementary School. The activity introduced the goals, objectives, and planned interventions of Project REACH 2.0, while emphasizing the importance of parental involvement and community partnership in achieving the program's desired outcomes.

Through strong partnerships and collective action, Project REACH 2.0 continues to embody its mission of reaching communities, empowering individuals, and transforming lives.
