This milestone was completed with the issuance of the COPC for the Bachelor of Science in Computer Applications (BSCA), making all undergraduate programs of the University fully compliant with the standards set by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). The College of Computer Studies (CCS) is proud to present “Ethical Hacking & Hustling: A 3-Day Capture-The-Flag and Startup Workshop”, organized in collaboration with ORCATech (Organization of Computer Achievers and Technologists). This three-day event is designed for students, by students, offering a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity and startup development. Participants will engage in activities such as Capture-The-Flag (CTF) competitions, learning the fundamentals of ethical hacking, and exploring entrepreneurial strategies for building and managing startups.

The workshop will take place from June 4 to 6, 2026 (Thursday to Saturday) at the New Academic Building, DEL. Resource speakers for the event include Rhayan S. Lodovice, a 3rd Year BSIT student with experience in cybersecurity and CTF competitions, and Hazrazee Sadhan A. Daing, a 3rd Year BSIT student experienced in startup development and tech innovation.

Registration is limited to 30 CCS students, with 15 slots for CTF participants and 15 slots for the Startup workshop. 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐓𝐚𝐰𝐢-𝐓𝐚𝐰𝐢 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐜𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐲 (𝐌𝐒𝐔 𝐓𝐂𝐓𝐎) continues to advance digital innovation and future-ready education through its participation in the 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺: 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼, 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀.

The 5-day intensive training was held on 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟴–𝟮𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at 𝗖𝗼𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝘂𝗴𝗻𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗼, 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆. The program was designed to equip university educators with the knowledge, practical skills, and teaching confidence needed to effectively deliver blockchain education in their respective institutions.

Representing 𝐌𝐒𝐔 𝐓𝐂𝐓𝐎 in the training were 𝑴𝒓. 𝑹𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒕 𝑩. 𝑯𝒂𝒊𝒍𝒂𝒚𝒂 and 𝑬𝒏𝒈𝒓. 𝑱𝒖𝒍-𝑯𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒓 𝑼. 𝑲𝒂𝒍𝒊, who actively participated in the technical sessions, hands-on exercises, guided discussions, quizzes, assignments, and capstone-based learning activities.

The program was facilitated by experienced trainers, namely 𝐘𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐰, 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦 𝐆𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐝𝐣𝐚𝐣𝐚 of 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐢 and 𝐏𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐚 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲, 𝐇𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐖𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐚 of 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐢 and 𝐁𝐂𝐀 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐚, and 𝐉𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐘𝐚𝐩𝐫𝐢 𝐨of 𝐏𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐚 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲.

The training covered key areas in blockchain and Web3 education, including blockchain fundamentals, smart contracts, decentralized application architecture, Solidity development, Web3 tools, digital wallets, security practices, DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, Layer 2 blockchain, and real-world blockchain use cases.

A proud highlight of the program was the recognition of 𝐌𝐒𝐔 𝐓𝐂𝐓𝐎 and 𝐌𝐒𝐔-𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐮 as a team, who were awarded 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭. This achievement reflects the team’s collaboration, creativity, technical capability, and commitment to applying blockchain technology to meaningful and practical solutions.

Through this program, MSU TCTO strengthens its commitment to faculty development, blockchain education, and the preparation of students for emerging opportunities in Web3, decentralized technologies, and the global digital economy.

This initiative was made possible through the collaborative efforts of 𝑳𝒊𝒔𝒌, 𝑫𝒂𝒗𝒂𝒐 𝑫𝒆𝑭𝒊 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝑬𝑻𝑯 𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔, and 𝑷𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒂 𝑩𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒔𝒂 𝑨𝒄𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒎𝒚, together with participating academic institutions and blockchain community partners.
