TRAC Criminology Faculty Attend 1st Asian Biennial Conference on Forensic and Legal Linguistics

The Tawi-Tawi Regional Agricultural College (TRAC), through the Department of Criminology, participated in the 1st Asian Biennial Conference organized by the Philippine Association for Forensic and Legal Linguistics (PAFLL) in partnership with Bukidnon State University (BukSU). The College was represented by three faculty members, namely Dean Ryxon L. Hamsan, RCrim, MCJE Alchwarizmi B. Abubakar, LPT, MAEd and Dave Collin N. Mandi, RCrim, MCJE. The event also emphasized the need for equitable representation of Indigenous languages in legal processes and highlighted the value of interdisciplinary collaboration among linguists, legal professionals, policymakers, and Indigenous leaders.

TRACโ€™s participation underscores the Collegeโ€™s commitment to advancing criminological education, Indigenous justice, and evidence-based practice through academic engagement and professional development. The Department of Criminology and the entire TRAC delegation extend their deepest gratitude to the College President, Dr. Hja. Sitti Amina J.
