December 21, 2024| Dr. Jumah performed heart rate quantification and blood extraction at the Marine Floating Cage Station. His interest in blood biochemistry in fishes paved an advanced application of blood as a major index in cultured fish.

Dr. Jumah urged several graduate students to include blood as one of the biological indices in their thesis.

December 19-21, 2024| Dr. Yashier Jumah participated and presented two of the internally funded project of MSU-TCTO, during the R&E Week held at the Henry V. Kong Gymnasium. He also served as one of the panelists during the event.

Dr. Jumah conceptualized and led the implementation of all internally funded projects of the year 2023. His paper titled, "Growth Efficiency of Panther Grouper (Cromileptes altivelis) using Trash Fishes in Floating Cage: Its Implication towards Food Security and Livelihood Sustainability" was awarded as the "Best Research Paper".

He got his MSc. and PhD from the University of the Philippines Visayas, currently the Director for Research, Hatchery Manager, and Chairman of the Screening Committee for Graduate Program of MSU-TCTO.
