Guinto-Sali, PA (RES) on her installation as Commander of the 1605th Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion under the 16th Regional Community Defense Group (16RCDG).

The MSU-TCTO community joins in celebrating this significant milestone and recognition of Chancellor Guinto-Sali’s continued commitment to leadership and public service.

The installation marks another significant milestone in Chancellor Guinto-Sali’s continuing commitment to public service, leadership, and nation-building. As the newly installed Commander, she assumes an important role in advancing the Reserve Force’s mission of supporting national defense, disaster response, community development, and civic engagement initiatives.

(GCash) formally entered into an Implementing Agreement for the GCash Funds Disbursement Service (FDS) with GCash Card Issuance, marking a significant step toward strengthening the University’s digital financial services and enhancing accessibility for students and employees.

The partnership aims to facilitate faster, more secure, and more efficient financial transactions through digital fund disbursement services for the University community.

ADVISORY | Classes and Work Resume

Pursuant to Memorandum Order No. 004, Series of 2026 issued by the Provincial Government of Tawi-Tawi, and following the cancellation of the tsunami warning by PHIVOLCS-DOST, the suspension of classes and work is hereby lifted.

Classes and office operations at MSU TCTO shall resume immediately.

Memorandum Order No. 004, Series of 2026

In view of the issuance by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS-DOST) of Tsunami Information No. 2 dated 08 June 2026, officially cancelling the Tsunami Warning previously issued following the offshore Sarangani earthquake, and upon determination that the observed sea level disturbances are too small to cause damage, the suspension of work and classes imposed under Memorandum Order No. 003, Series of 2026, is hereby LIFTED effective immediately.

In view of Memorandum Order No. 003, Series of 2026 issued by the Provincial Government of Tawi-Tawi regarding the suspension of work and classes throughout the province, the Mindanao State University Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography (MSU TCTO) announces the suspension of classes and work effective 12:00 noon today, June 8, 2026, until further notice.

All University constituents are advised to remain vigilant, monitor official advisories from concerned authorities, and observe all necessary safety precautions.
