The Public Administration Department is proud to introduce its newest and youngest faculty member

Assistant Professor Jerimy I. Edubos joins the Department of Public Administration at MSU-TCTO as its youngest faculty member, bringing with him a strong academic record, professional expertise, and a passion for youth and community development. He graduated Magna cm Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2022 and earned his Master of Public Administration with Academic Distinction in 2025, both from MSU-TCTO. He is also pursuing Spanish language proficiency at the CEVAS Review and Language Center.
Before joining MSU-TCTO, Assistant Professor Edubos served as Field Researcher and Documenter in several organizations, such as the Westminster Foundation for Democracy, United Voices for Peace Network, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the Ministry of Social Services and DevelopmentโBARMM (MSSD-BARMM), and the Ministry of Science and TechnologyโBARMM (MOST-BARMM). These experiences honed his skills in governance, policy research, and community engagement, preparing him for his current academic and leadership roles.
From 2023 to 2025, he served as Academic Support Staff at MSU-TCTO and held various coordinator roles under the College of Arts and Sciences. He is currently the Station Manager of MSU-TCTO NRK and serves as Special Assistant to the Dean on Technical Matters, further showcasing his leadership in both academic and administrative spheres.
His numerous achievements include recognition by the Tawi-Tawi Communicatorsโ Network for community service in 2018, an award from the Provincial Government of Tawi-Tawi for psychosocial and mental health initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, and multiple honors in broadcast journalism, debate, and academic excellence. He was named Most Commendable Student Announcer for three consecutive years, received the Gawad Chancellor for Academic Excellence and Broadcast Journalism in 2022, and was recognized as Most Exemplary Student of the College of Arts and Sciences in both 2022 and 2025. Notably, he emerged as the Topnotcher of the Comprehensive Examination for the Master of Public Administration in 2024, further affirming his academic distinction.
With Assistant Professor Edubos on board, the Department of Public Administration is proud to welcome a dynamic young scholar, Station Manager, and Special Assistant to the Dean whose vision, leadership, and dedication will further strengthen the departmentโs commitment to academic excellence and public service.
