In partnership with the UP Economic Society, the Office of the Student Regent is encouraging all students, supreme student councils, student publications and student organizations of Eastern Samar State University to attend The Rundown 2022: A Youth-Oriented Senate Elections Forum this March 12, 2022 via Facebook Live.

Congratulations Criminologists!

The Office of the Student Regent would like to Congratulate our new Registered Criminologists of Eastern Samar State University garnering 91.67% or 22 out of 24 first takers and 50% or 1 out of 2 repeaters from the Main Campus and 74.36% or 29 out of 39 first takers and 30.95% or 13 out of 42 repeaters from Maydolong Campus. The University obtained 88.46% and 51.85% National Passing Percentage respectively.

Thank you very much Eastern Samar State University (ESSU) for your generous donation of Php25,000.00 for VSU’s relief efforts intended for the victims of Typhoon Odette.

We particularly say thank you to ESSU President Dr. Andres C. Pagatpatan, Jr. for facilitating this donation.

The whole VSU community is grateful to ESSU and our other donors and partners who are helping us reach out to as many affected students and communities particularly in the provinces of Southern Leyte, Bohol and Cebu.

Memorandum No.:2022-OSR-01 is now available!

In anticipation of the upcoming 2nd Semester for Academic Year 2021-2022 and the resumption of the University's limited face-to-face classes, the Office of the Student Regent humbly requests that all students complete the Survey on academic and non-academic related concerns that have arisen over the past few months, as well as the resumption of the University's limited face-to-face classes.

With this, the Office respectfully requests that all ESSU students, student council, student newspaper, and student organization participate in the completion of this form. The purpose of this activity is to gather data from all students that will be used to formulate relevant, research-based and inclusive strategies, programs, and/or activities that will beneficial to the students.

Barrete, both Cum Laude graduates of Bachelor of Early Childhood Education batch 2021, received awards during the Gawad Parangal 2021 given by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in the ceremony held last December 2, 2021 at the Visayas State University (VSU) Baybay City, Leyte.
