ESSU Bar Operations Committee, Barangay Maypangdan, Borongan (2026)

The Bar Operations for the Eastern Samar State University were on full swing for the first and second day of the 2025 Bar Examinations! The committee was able to distribute food packs, snacks, and financial assistance from the Provincial Governor's Office.

All these would not be possible without the support and help provided by the ESSU College of Law Community, the Stakeholders, friends, and alumni.

Let's continue to pray for our barristers good health, mental fortitude, and success in the last day of the Bar Examinations this Sunday, September 14, 2025.

The ESSU Bar Operations Committee would like to express its sincerest gratitude to the Representative of the Lone District of Eastern Samar, Congressman Christopher "Sheen" Gonzales, for his very generous donation! The donation shall be used to provide assistance to the barristers and for the much awaited salubong! His dedication to uplifting the province's condition is evident in the act of investing and believing in the peoples' capability to surmount one of the hardest challenge: hurdling the Bar!

Similarly, the committee would like to convey its gratitude to the various sponsors who also donated for the cause. A separate post will be made to thank all the sponsors of the barops.

The support given by our stakeholders and college of law community is a clear manifestation of our solidarity and camaraderie!

The ESSU Bar Operations Committee would like to convey its sincerest gratitude to the people who have given their support to the barristers of the ESSU College of Law. The monetary donations received were used to provide financial assistance to our barristers and purchase their respective bar kits. In addition, the committee would like to thank Rev. Fr. Arthur Edrian C. Afable, OIC Rector of the Seminario de Jesus Nazareno, Inc., for blessing the bar kits for our barristers.

We enjoin the ESSU COL community and the Estehanon people to pray for our barristers' success and show support through participating in the different endeavors spearheaded by the ESSU BarOps Committee.

The night was filled with joy and pride as we were joined by our amazing barristers and their families, faculty, and students from both the Main and Guiuan campuses of ESSU College of Law. Special thanks to our Dean, Atty. Dulce Amor Beato, and Dr. Aris Lapada, Vice President for Academics, who represented our University President, Dr. Andres C. Pagatpatan Jr.
