It is administered by South Korea's Institute for Information and Communications Technology Planning and Evaluation.

𝐀𝐃 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐱 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐄𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐔 𝐚𝐬 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒

Alper-Doger (AD) Scientific Index unveiled its 2024 edition, bestowing recognition upon eight (8) exceptional faculty members of Eastern Samar State University (ESSU) as Best Scientists.

With an impressive total of 641 citations, Dr. Aris Lapada ranked first as Best Scientist of the University. Dr. Edgar Julius Lim secured the second spot in the rankings with a total of 60 citations. Meanwhile, ranking third is Dr. Noba Hilvano, with 52 citations.

Among other recognized faculty researchers as Best Scientists were Dr. Sharon Singzon, Mr. Neil Francis Casillano, Dr. Andy A. Lapada, Ms. Rizza Josefina Doguiles, and Mr. Marciano Cadalin.

Moreover, ESSU has proven its mettle by ranking 153rd among 290 universities and institutions in the country.

The AD Scientific Index is a system of ranking and analysis that evaluates the scientific productivity and added value of individual scientists. It displays the six-year and total productivity coefficients of scientists, which are calculated using citations and h-index and i10 index scores in Google Scholar.
