BASE together with its university partner, De La Salle University (DLSU) published another journal about the Experimental Study on the Dowel-Bearing Strength of Bambusa blumeana Bamboo Used for Sustainable Housing Construction.

This study addresses the lack of bamboo connection standards by identifying factors such as dowel diameter, node placements, and the physical properties of bamboo. In addition, it provides a foundation for optimizing the use of Bambusa blumeana in sustainable construction and advances the understanding of its dowel-bearing strength.
