💻 𝐁𝐘𝐂𝐈𝐓 2026 HIGHLIGHTS

A two-day journey of learning, collaboration, and fun at the 14th Bicol Youth Congress in Information Technology (BYCIT) held last April 20–21, 2026 at Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges. 🚀

The event featured a series of engaging panel discussions, insightful Q&A sessions, and inspiring talks from guest speakers that brought together students from different schools—including participants from Sorsogon State University – Bulan Campus.

Beyond the learnings, the energy stayed high with interactive ice breakers—especially the raffle draw 🎁—plus exciting moments that made the experience even more memorable for everyone.

From start to finish, BYCIT 2026 became a space for sharing ideas, building connections, and celebrating the passion for technology. 🤝💙

Empowering our minds, inspiring change, and shaping the future of technology

The 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 in collaboration with, 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 (𝙂𝘼𝘿), successfully conducted the event entitled “ 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡 “ this March 25, 2026 at 𝗦𝗼𝗿𝗦𝗨-𝗕𝗖 in Social Hall.

The event was filled with not just knowledge through discussions, but also enjoyment through fun activities like shining and showing their beauty in photo booth, testing their knowledge in women-trivia challenge, and taking their opportunity to capture their best poses in women empowerment wall.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our guest speaker 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐚 𝐕𝐞𝐠𝐚, as she highlighted the importance of inclusivity of every woman in the field of technology while recognizing their vital contributions, encouraging each of everyone of us to choose our path and know what we truly want.
