The ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ ๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ of ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐๐ง ๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐ญ๐๐ญ๐ ๐๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ (๐๐๐๐๐) proudly celebrates the successful participation of ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ฒ ๐. ๐๐ฆ๐๐, BS Agribusiness student, in the ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐๐ซ ๐๐ง๐ซ๐ข๐๐ก๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฆ ๐๐๐๐ held from ๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐๐โ๐๐, ๐๐๐๐ at the University of the Philippines Los Baรฑos (UPLB) and its partner institutions across Luzon.
Throughout the program, the delegates visited leading research institutions, universities, and innovation centers, gaining valuable knowledge on agricultural research, extension, food technology, postharvest systems, renewable energy, agritourism, and sustainable farming practices. Beyond academics, the program fostered cultural understanding, leadership, and international friendship through meaningful interactions and collaborative activities with fellow delegates from different countries.
One of the program's proudest highlights was the ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฑ๐ข๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐๐จ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐๐ง๐ง๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ, where international teams were challenged to develop innovative solutions to real-world agricultural issues facing Asia. Tasked with creating a financially and socially sustainable partnership model that would enable agricultural projects to continue even after donor funding ends, the team proposed a collaborative framework that united universities, farmers, government agencies, industries, and local communities to ensure long-term impact and sustainability.
We are proud to announce that the team, with Raymond Jay N. Amba as one of its members, was recognized as one of the ๐๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ง๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ ๐๐ก๐๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐ฐ๐๐ซ๐๐๐๐ฌ, tying with another outstanding team. This award, one of only three peer-recognition categories in the workshop, honored the proposal that best demonstrated meaningful collaboration, practical implementation, and sustainable partnerships for the future of agriculture.
