The ADSSU Office of the University and Board Secretary warmly congratulates Hon. Boylen B. Cabag on his oath-taking as the first Faculty Regent of Agusan del Sur State University (ADSSU).

The oath of office was administered by Hon. Myrna Q. Mallari, CHED Commissioner and Chairperson of the ADSSU Board of Regents, marking a historic milestone as the university welcomed its first-ever Faculty Regent following its conversion into a state university.

Following the ceremony, Hon. Cabag actively participated in the 1st Regular Meeting of the ADSSU Board of Regents for the First Quarter of Calendar Year 2026. During the meeting, the Board deliberated on and approved several significant programs, activities, and projects essential to the university’s transition and continuing development. Among the key matters discussed was the new term of University President Dr. Joy C. Capistrano, along with the approval of the establishment of additional research centers aimed at strengthening the university’s academic and research capabilities.

These initiatives are expected to bring meaningful and long-term benefits to the entire ADSSU community, particularly its students, as the university continues to pursue excellence in instruction, research, innovation, and public service.
