𝙉𝙊𝙒 𝙃𝘼𝙋𝙋𝙀𝙉𝙄𝙉𝙂: Eastern Visayas State University – Burauen Campus is currently conducting the Seminar-Workshop on the Development of Gender-Fair Syllabus and Instructional Materials (IMS): Creation and Evaluation, it is a two day seminar-workshop held today May 18, 2026 and will continue tomorrow at the Human Resource Development Center.

The activity aimed to strengthen gender sensitivity and inclusivity in instruction through the development and evaluation of gender-fair syllabi and instructional materials. Faculty members and participants actively engaged in collaborative workshops, discussions, and outputs that promote equitable and responsive learning environments for all.

The said seminar aims to discuss the overview of the Intellectual Property and Rights, Trademarks and Branding which includes IP Registration process.

𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 | Please be informed that pursuant to EVSU Memorandum No. 04-06-2026, the mandatory student uniform policy across all campuses is hereby temporarily suspended until further notice due to prevailing extreme weather conditions and related concerns.

Students are advised to wear comfortable, modest, and weather-appropriate attire when attending classes, in accordance with university policies on propriety and decorum. The wearing of the official University Identification Card (ID) is strictly required at all times within the university premises.

All concerned are enjoined to observe proper compliance with this directive.

EVSU strongly warns the public, especially all aspiring EVSUnistas and their parents, regarding a fraudulent admission email circulating online.

This fake email (as seen in the photo) falsely claims that applicants must pay via GCash, LandBank, or walk-in transactions before their scheduled admission interviews.

THIS IS A SCAM. The email did not come from any official EVSU office.

EVSU DOES NOT and WILL NEVER collect any payments or fees for College Admission Tests, interviews, or any part of the admission process. As a state university, our admission process is absolutely FREE.

Do NOT send money or personal information to these scammers.

We urge everyone to remain vigilant. For official updates and announcements regarding admissions, please rely only on the official EVSU website and the official social media pages of our offices.

If you receive suspicious messages, please report them immediately to the EVSU Admission and Testing Office.

𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 | Work and Class Operations for Holy Week 2026: Please be guided by OUP Memorandum No. 03-09-2026 regarding university operations for the upcoming Holy Week, covering all campuses of Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU).

From March 30 to April 1, 2026, classes will be conducted either synchronously or asynchronously. All designated officials are required to report to the office. On April 1, work and classes shall only be observed until 12:00 noon, while other student activities are postponed and will be rescheduled accordingly.

There will be no work and classes from April 2 to April 4, 2026, in observance of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Black Saturday. Regular work and synchronous or on-site classes will resume on April 6, 2026.
