𝟐𝟎𝟐 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐎𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐚 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧

Camp Col. Rafael C. Rodriguez, Libertad, Butuan City—A total of 202 new police recruits of the Police Regional Office (PRO) 13 took their oath of office as part of the 2026 Attrition and Regular Recruitment Program, marking the beginning of their journey as members of the Philippine National Police, during a ceremony held here today, September 16.

Police Brigadier General Rolindo M. Suguilon, PRO13 Director, administered the oath of office to the recruits following their presentation by the Chief of the Regional Recruitment and Selection Unit 13.

During the ceremony, members of the Regional Screening Committee were presented with plaques of appreciation for their valuable contributions and dedicated efforts in ensuring the proper and efficient conduct of the recruitment and selection process.

Of the 202 recruits, 129 comprised the Attrition Quota, consisting of 88 males and 41 females, while 73 were under the Regular Quota, comprising 53 males and 20 females.

The new police recruits will undergo six months of rigorous Public Safety Basic Recruit Course at the Regional Training Center in Lipata, Surigao City.

They will receive a basic monthly salary of Php31,151.00, in addition to authorized allowances and benefits.

The oath-taking ceremony was witnessed by the recruits’ families, relatives, and friends, who shared this significant milestone as the new police officers formally embarked on their chosen path of public service.

We are proud to announce the success of our new Urian Criminologists in the August 2026 Licensure Exam for Criminologists (LEC). Thanks to your hard work and dedication, we have achieved the following:

FSUU Passing Rate for First Time Takers - 83.33% (15 Total Passers)
National Passing Rate - 57.57%

Thank you to Program Coordinator Ms. Ann Margarette M. Diez, the dedicated CJEP faculty, and to the parents, guardians, families, and friends for supporting our passers every step of the way!

Following the advisory issued by the City Government of Butuan, classes at all levels will continue to be conducted online on August 17, 2026, Monday until further notice.

All face-to-face activities shall likewise remain suspended to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of everyone. Office transactions, however, shall continue from 8:00AM - 5:00PM per OP Memo No. 5 S. 2026.

𝗙𝗦𝗨𝗨 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘆 | 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟯𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Please be informed that August 3, 2026 (Monday) has been declared a Special Non-Working Day in Butuan City pursuant to Executive Order No. 070, series of 2026 in observance of the 76th Charter Day Anniversary of Butuan City (Adlaw Hong Butuan).

There will be no classes and office operations on the said date to allow the university community to celebrate this milestone event. Regular academic and administrative operations will resume on August 4, 2026 (Tuesday). Offices in the main campus will be open Tuesday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
