In a final push toward licensure readiness, the Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English (BSEd-English) 4th Year students, spearheaded by ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐๐ ๐๐ก๐๐ข๐ซ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง ๐๐จ๐ง๐ง๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ข๐ ๐. ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ง๐จ and facilitated by the ๐๐๐-๐๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฌ๐ก ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐๐ข๐๐ญ๐ฒ (๐๐๐-๐๐๐๐), successfully launched ๐๐๐๐ฌ๐๐ฒ๐จ 2026: ๐๐๐๐-๐
๐จ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฌ๐ก ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐ง-๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ ๐๐๐ฏ๐ข๐๐ฐ last May 6, 2026, at the H.E.R.O Learning Commons Auditorium.
This one-day academic initiative was designed to equip graduating pre-service English teachers with targeted reinforcement on core concepts in English language education, while sharpening their test-taking strategies for the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT).
Opening the program, ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ฒ๐ผ ๐. ๐๐ผ๐ฑ๐ถ๐น๐น๐ฎ, ๐๐ฟ., ๐๐ฑ๐ of the College of Education underscored the importance of early and intentional preparation, reminding participants that success in the LEPT is built not only on content mastery but also on discipline, consistency, and the right mindset.
The event was enriched by the presence of distinguished alumni and resource speakers:
๐๐ผ๐ป. ๐๐ป๐๐ต๐ผ๐ป๐ ๐ฆ. ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ด๐ฎ๐ฝ๐๐น๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ป, ๐๐๐ pioneering alumnus and September 2025 LEPT passer, delivered the first review session โ๐๐จ๐ฐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐๐: ๐๐๐๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐๐ ๐ข๐๐ฌ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐๐ก๐ง๐ข๐ช๐ฎ๐๐ฌ.โ He shared practical approaches to studying, managing time, and navigating exam pressures, followed by practice tests that allowed participants to apply the strategies immediately.

To simulate actual testing conditions, the committee administered a Mock Board Examination, giving participants a hands-on experience of the LEPT environment and enabling them to assess their readiness.
